“My partner and I are not very organized so it was really helpful that Jay set multiple check-ins and opportunities for us to curate the music how we liked. We got to have input but not responsibility and it was all seamless. He even came down to Brooklyn to do a walkthrough of our venue. John, the sax player, is the band leader, served as our MC, and made our wedding day run flawlessly despite the weather totally interrupting all of our plans! We didn't have a wedding planner and felt we didn't need one as we were in good hands with John. He helped us design our reception timeline, worked behind the scenes with our venue to make sure food serving times aligned with their sets, and effortlessly incorporated all of our music requests. Us and our guests had an absolute blast, many guests telling us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. The dance floor was packed literally the entire night. The band uses medleys of similar genres/songs, so that they are not stuck on one song for too long and the music seems cohesive rather than jumping all over the place.
