PeterJames Floral Couture

5.0

Asbury Park, NJ
  • Serves North Brunswick, NJ

I have been in the creative floral industry for more than 30 years. Left my corporate job to play and create and I have never looked back. I have designed and created florals for weddings and events up and down the eastern seaboard, a small town boy never strays too far. My small company also offers Planning and Coordination packages and I have great relationships among many vendors and venues. If your needs extend beyond beautiful florals, I am absolutely sure I have the person for you.

I loved how Peter was able to take what I sent him over email into exactly what I wanted. My centerpieces and bouquets were all white flowers with some greenery. Peter came up with different white flowers like roses and calla lilies to make beautiful arrangements. I never would have been able to create floral arrangements on my own, so I’m very happy that I went with his company for my big day.

Kate was beyond amazing to work with from the very start. I found Kate as my friend had used her in her wedding and I was blown away by how stunning all the flowers were. I just knew I had to have her at my own wedding. From the very beginning she was so easy to work with, between the phone calls, emails and texts she never missed any communication/ flexible with trying to meet. I needed some last minute changes and she immediately said "no problem" and adjusted to what was needed. The day of she blew my expectations away, she set everything up on her own, worked with the other vendors and even brought some extra flowers/ pieces to help fill spaces as needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone!! she was one of my most easiest to work with, stress free, and best vendor during the wedding process!

      Ruffled Blooms

      5.0

      Flemington, NJ
      • Starts at $3,500

We're Kim and Leah. We first met in 2016 while working in marketing for a food company. While working together, we learned that we share a love of food, flowers, and events. And now, our friendship and shared interests have blossomed into Ruffled Blooms!

Leah and Kim of Ruffled Blooms went above and beyond to make our wildflower wedding a floral-filled dream! They were so organized, communicative, thoughtful, and patient throughout the process. Leah and Kim absolutely nailed the bright and playful floral theme we were going for— from peony & poppy bouquets to the stunning display above our venue’s fireplace, all of their pieces were detailed showstoppers! The real showstopper however was... the FLOWER CART!! Complete with a charming parasol umbrella, the flower cart was stocked with fresh-cut flowers, paper, and twine for our guests to DIY arrangements. It was such a fun and memorable activity— our friends and family are still talking about it! We truly could not have asked for a better experience after working with Ruffled Blooms!!

          Biglerville, PA
          • Serves North Brunswick, NJ

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Misha was one of the first vendors that we booked. I knew that I wanted fresh flowers for our vow renewal and was willing to pay for her expertise. Her style and creativity are so impressive; it's easy to look at any picture of her work and know that she puts her heart and soul into each piece, regardless of what it is. Initially I wasn't sure if she would be super into what I was looking for because it wasn't so much of the boho vibe she does so well and I would consider what I wanted to be plain compared to a lot of her work. But I knew I had to try because not only is her work beautiful, but it’s so unique just like her. I wanted simple whites and creams with different greens – but I wanted Misha to do it because she uses such unique flowers and creates such amazing pieces. She chose the most amazing flowers for all of our pieces – a bridal bouquet, 2 arbor pieces, and a few bud vases. My bouquet was one of the most amazing bouquets I have ever seen; the differences in the flowers, the creams and whites, the textures of the different greens – and the smell! It was so fragrant! The pieces on the arbor were amazing (and she even helped me get the perfect arbor!). Even the bud vases were way more than I expected, they looked like small arrangements, not bud vases. I got so many compliments on all of the florals and I was so pleased that everyone loved them as much as I did and I sent people home with all the florals except for my bouquet so that they could enjoy them as well for the next few days. When you talk to Misha, or see her posts online, you can just tell that she loves what she does – and as she should, because it clearly is her calling. We would recommend her over and over to anyone looking for floral work. She is kind, friendly, creative, listens to your wants and needs, easy to make changes and updates with, any got nothing but high praise from my other vendors as well. BOOK HER, do not wait. She is worth every penny and then some.

          Something Borrowed Blooms

          4.8

          Lafayette, LA
          • Starts at $250
          • Serves North Brunswick, NJ

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

SBB was such a beautiful, inexpensive alternative to real flowers. I used them for all my florals (ALL OF THEM)! I was afraid of using artificial flowers at first bc of the quality of artificial florals I had seen previously (Dollar Tree or even Hobby Lobby) but these were MUCH better quality than those. One of my bridesmaids didn’t even realize her bouquet was artificial until I told her!! The only thing I will say is that if you’re using centerpieces or things like that, make sure you have someone to transport and set them up and take them down to ship them back! That required an additional step but it was nothing compared to the quality and the cost of these beautiful florals!!

From our first phone call to the wedding day, she was incredibly easy to communicate with, highly reliable, and professional. Mitali quickly understood our overall vision and the final product was beyond our expectations. Her creation of the chuppah, groom's boutonniere, bouquets and centerpieces were incredible.
