Where do I even begin? Hiring Angela to help coordinate our wedding was THE BEST decision we made. Our wedding was on the smaller side -- we only invited 65 people -- and when we first started planning, we questioned if we even needed a coordinator, but oh my god we absolutely did and I'm so happy we had Angela's support. From our first call with her, we knew we wanted to hire her. She is so kind, sweet and attentive. She saw our vision and was immediately on board. We hired her for month of coordination which was the perfect amount of support. Leading up to the wedding, she was so helpful in coordinating all of our vendor communication, and I'm sure she did work behind the scenes that I'm not even aware of just to make sure everything was going to plan. She was so upbeat and organized at our wedding rehearsal. Our wedding party kept commenting on how awesome she was. We ran into a few vendor issues days before our wedding, including the hotel where our wedding room block was trying to charge us a hefty 1,000 fee just to take a few photos on their property and our reception venue doing last minute construction. Both situations could have been extremely stressful, but Angela handled them like a pro and jumped in to make sure everything was taken care of for us. We held our wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and my biggest concern was always rain since it is an outdoor space. Luckily, it didn’t rain, but I never in a million years would have imagined that I should have been concerned about an entire high school prom showing up to take their prom photos at the exact same time as our wedding ceremony. Thankfully we had Angela and her team on site to make sure the prom was moved as far away from our space as possible! She is seriously a wonder — and shoutout to Brandon on her team who is also fantastic! Do yourself a favor and hire Angela! You won’t regret it. Thank you so much again, Angela! You’re the best and we sincerely appreciate you!

She managed all of the little details I wanted seamlessly. All of her prep documents were incredibly helpful, and made me think of several things we hadn't even thought of. My husband and I were so happy with our day-of coordinators, Teri and Mindy. We felt like they went above and beyond our expectations in terms of how well they communicated with us preparing for the wedding. On the day-of, they made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule (: We did run behind schedule later in the evening (as expected with any wedding, mostly due to some family drama), but they managed to get us caught up because they were very efficient at getting all of the vendors on the same page! We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests saying the flow events appeared very smooth, and there were very few, minor hiccups, which is a huge accomplishment for a wedding in my eyes! I can honestly say I don't think our wedding day could have gone any better, and it would not have been possible without our coordinators working so hard to make sure everyone knew where to go and what to do. I also greatly appreciated their attention to detail, they set up my decorations exactly how I requested and even provided a checklist of items for me to hand to them at the rehearsal. This was such a lifesaver, we would not have had anything to cut our cake with had they not lended us their knife and server! Cannot recommend Mindy & Co Events enough!

Jay and I got married this past March 2023. I found Francine on a facebook wedding group. Francine did an amazing job with wedding coordinating and floral arrangements. I had an image of how our neon sign and arch would look like and she made it even more beautiful than I imagined! I wanted specific wildflowers and she fulfilled my request and made the floral arrangements so beautiful. I also requested to ensure the timeline was on time because I’ve been to weddings that the guests are sitting there and nothing was happening and I did not want to waste any time at the wedding reception. She did great with the rest of my vendors, timeline and organization as well. She was honest, direct and knowledgeable about the Wedding industry. She did everything I requested and more! The venue kept asking me to add on things which cost more and she told me directly that it is a waste of money, which I love because I am a budget bride. I love that she is honest with her clients and recommends what looks the best and cost effective. I feel that she is very approachable like a friend but at the same time she keeps her professionalism. She made our dream wedding into reality! I was almost not going to choose Ingrid as a wedding coordinator and that would have been one of my biggest regrets as a bride for my wedding. I actually had already put a small deposit down for another wedding coordinator, but once I met Ingrid, she stole my heart. She was my calm to my storm, my ying to my yang, my Robin to my Batman…etc Ingrid is not only an amazing wedding coordinator, but she is also an amazing wedding officiant. She took our love story and crazy ceremony ideas (such as taking a shot with us along with our guests before we sealed the deal or taping our ring box underneath one of the chairs for a surprise ring bearer) and created the ceremony of our dreams. To hear from multiple guests that it was the best ceremony they attended was the best compliment we could receive because the ceremony is the most important part of a wedding. It was my favorite part of my wedding. Then she can amazingly switch gears from officiant to wedding coordinator and rock that too. She can do it all (literally). I always have other couples tell us that their wedding day goes by very fast and they didn’t really get to enjoy all the little things. However, my husband and I felt like our special day did not go by so fast and we most definitely got to enjoy the little things mainly because Ingrid took care of everything behind the scenes that no one sees. She created an amazing timeline for us, took charge of our vendors, made sure we were right on schedule with everything, was super communicative along the way… the list goes on and on. She is everything you would want in a wedding coordinator. I am very sad I won’t get to work with her anymore unless I get married again lol, but I would recommend her to anyone I know and hopefully get to see her in action again.

Karla and her team were the best! I cannot recommend them enough. From the moment we started our wedding planning journey to the day we said "I do," Karla has been there to help us prepare. Her expertise when it comes to coordinating weddings was excellent as she was very knowledgable about the ends and out of the day. Her team were on point, and she wrangled all of our vendors, so we didn't have to worry about those details and organization. I think what I loved most about the time, my now wife and I had with Karla, was that she helped us breathe on the wedding day and realize that it was all going to go according to plan. I personally underestimated how chaotic a wedding day could be, but Karla was there to help center me. Something important for our wedding was being able to converse in both English and Spanish. Karla and her team were great in this aspect too, allowing for both families to be seen and feel heard. As when it comes to weddings, taking care of the family helps the people getting married become more at ease, well at least it did in my case. Again, I am not sure I could say enough about Karla, she is a true professional, and I felt like I made a friend in the process. I would Highly, and I stress highly recommend her for you wedding. You won't regret it.

Calmerin was the best investment we made for our wedding, hands down!!! Glennie and Ashton were incredible from the start to finish. We knew from the very first phone call that they were going to 100% on top of it, and we were right! The organization and detail of this team is top-notch. We hired them for Jade Package, which is similar to day-of-coordination (which is really more month-of), and was super important given our majority DIY wedding with 170 guests. Plus, Glennie and Ashton were such lovely, kind, and genuine people!! While the bulk of the details and communication was in the month leading up to our wedding, we had access to all of the planning docs as soon as we sent our deposit. The planning docs are AMAZING and so detailed, making us feel like we could transfer all of our knowledge/plans/thoughts to them. This was really important for us since we were doing the majority of the planning, and they executed phenomenally. We were also able to ask them for questions, such as a DJ recommendation. Glennie and Ashton were fantastic during the thorough venue walk-through, video calls, rehearsal with our wedding party, and on the day-of. We were able to drop off all of our wedding stuff (2 SUVs full) the morning of with set-up directions, and we showed up and it looked better than we had imagined/planned for! The tight set-up window from our venue was stressful, but Glennie and Ashton made sure everything was ready to go. They were so great at communicating with our vendors (we got many compliments!) They only texted us 1 small question the day-of, knowing that we were stressed and busy. They were AMAZING throughout the whole night, making sure we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. We could go on and on about how amazing the team was and how happy we are that we worked with them. Best decision, book them before their calendars fill!

Where do I start in describing how lucky my husband and I are to have come across Opus Events, and to have had the pleasure of working with Belinda in planning our elopement. It’s like planning a wedding with your super organized and on top of it friend who totally gets your style and vibe. We came into this process a little lost on where to start with everything, but Belinda made it all so easy. She has a wealth of creative ideas and is full of fantastic recommendations from everything from florists, to locations, to restaurants, or anything you might want for your event. Anything specific that we had in mind, Belinda was quick to incorporate it. When we didn’t know what we wanted, such as the overall aesthetic for our event, Belinda was able to create an incredible vision just based on some simple questions we answered and by her browsing my Pinterest boards. The end result was a gorgeous setup that was completely our style, but something we would never have created on our own. Belinda is sweet and laid back while being incredibly together and detail-oriented. She creates shared documents for budget, timeline, and other important details that are so helpful throughout the process. She is super adaptable to any issues that might pop up and is able to pivot on a dime as needed. She has thought of everything and is thoroughly prepared down to the bandaid my husband unexpectedly needed after the ceremony. She is flexible, easy to talk to, and overall incredible at what she does. She is a delight to work with and I’d recommend Opus Events Co. 100 times over.

I could fill the entire Pacific Ocean with compliments for Michelle and her team. Michelle was part of our planning process for nearly 2.5 years (thanks 2020). Despite endless uncertainties, Michelle was always patient, kind, understanding, and optimistic while realistic. We always felt we could trust Michelle no matter the issue - which is the most important when choosing your vendors. Not only does she have a great eye for design, she is meticulous and detail oriented. She provided all the organization and design resources we needed and truly understood our vision. A huge plus is that she is well attuned to East Asian traditions and can speak to guests who do not understand English. There were so many details we would have missed had it not been for Michelle. Even though our bridal party and family only had short interactions with Michelle on the wedding day, they all commented and were so impressed by her level of organization, positive attitude, and constant smile. When the weather prediction showed 70% chance of rain on our wedding the entire week leading up to it, Michelle worked hard even at late hours to ensure we had a backup plan that fit our vision and communicated with our vendors for options. Not only so, she paid for an hourly weather app to see if it would stop raining by our ceremony time. By some miracle, the rain cleared. When we needed extra rentals at the last minute, Michelle went out of her way to help us pick them up and received packages for us since we were out of town. We never expected any vendor to do this for us. These are just a few examples of the numerous times she went above and beyond. Although she juggles many events, she always makes you feel like you are the top priority. Michelle will treat your wedding like her own with the full attention it deserves. Our day was perfect, all thanks to the Somni Events team!

On our actual wedding day, it’s hard to even describe what a pivotal role Randy played in making the whole thing such a huge success! He managed all the details perfectly to a T, including managing stressed family members and making sure we didn’t get pulled into any drama or questions from vendors or guests. I also love that he was willing to roll up his sleeves and be an extra pair of hands to our vendors in busy moments like bartending and making sure everything was cleaned/picked up before our venue deadline. We also felt that Dan just genuinely cared about us; he made sure to save us various desserts and remind us that we should take a break to eat or switch to a cold glass of champagne before toasts. I was working remotely (helping with a newborn granddaughter), so Annie, the bride/my daughter and I had regular phone/google meetings, with prompt updates. She acted as intermediary, communicating with both groom and bride and vendors to refine details; sparing me the hassle. I always expect the unexpected, and as a very few MINOR glitches arose, Annie managed them efficiently. I was well aware of the details, but when the time came for THE Rehearsal and Welcome Dinner, and THE Wedding and Reception, everything exceeded my expectations as it magically coalesced into a literal "DREAM COME TRUE"! (and my daughter had been dreaming about her wedding since the first time she watched Cinderella) I thoroughly enjoyed the event we hosted, THANKS to Annie. While we worked the remaining things that we missed from the list, Meredith diligently worked on coordinating with the other vendors and putting together a timeline for our wedding. When we first saw Meredith at the wedding, she was in her element. She had the staff working to make sure the drinks were stocked, guests knew where to sign in, the dJ and the Photo Booth knew where to setup, the caterers knew where to be and more. She could not have been more professional. Upon the completion of our photos, we realized that we were going to have to move the timeline up. Meredith told us that would be no problem and immediately began making sure all necessary parties knew the update and got where they needed to go. As the night came to an end, it was such a weight off of our shoulders knowing that we didn't have anything to worry about.
