Everyone was shocked they were fake! Even the candles had a wax feel to them with flickering to mimic a real flame. Renting from SBB also saved us literally thousands of dollars on florals and rentals while still giving us the look we wanted. Additionally, it was so easy to receive and ship them back. Here are the items we rented: 1 Olivia Garden Cut Bridal Bouquet 6 Nina Bridesmaids Bouquets 1 Olivia Garland 1 Nina Garland 2 Nina Large Centerpieces 1 Set of Small Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Medium Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Large Cane Lanterns 3 Nina Dog Collars 2 Sets of Copper Glass Votives 6 Sets of Burnt Copper Candlesticks For our ceremony, I used the Olivia and Nina Garland to decorate our arch then we moved this to the Sweetheart table for our Reception along with several candlesticks and votives. For the reception, we had 2 tables with the Nina Large Centerpiece and several votive candles. 2 Tables had 1 small cane lantern, 1 medium cane lantern, and 1 large cane lantern and we tied the dog collars around the medium size cane lantern to add some florals. Then for 6 of our tables, we repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets in various vases along with several candlesticks and votives.”

“As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!”

“Lindsay was my florist for my October 3rd wedding, and what she created was better than I could possibly imagine. I had no idea what I wanted in terms of flowers, and was completely overwhelmed with making decisions with the wedding as I’m sure a lot of brides start to feel. I gave Lindsay a color scheme and my budget and she ran with it, completely blowing our expectations out of the water. We even had other vendors saying they were their favorite flowers they had ever seen at the venue (and this venue is busy, so that’s saying something). I made it hard on her having a destination wedding during covid, with constantly changing plans and flower needs and she took it all in stride and made it happen. She was professional and worked so fast, everything was prepared beforehand and we were amazed by how quickly everything came together the day of. The attention to detail was immaculate and the arrangements on the tables and ceremony arch were so beautiful and complex. I’m so obsessed with how my bouquet came out, I will 100 percent be hiring Lindsay again to recreate it on anniversaries. She even brought extra flowers to make sure everything was as vibrant and fresh as possible, and had enough to decorate the stands, our cake, and she made a few small arrangements day of to decorate our welcome table and head table. We are so grateful for Lindsay for doing so much for us, and we are so lucky to know such a talented and hardworking person who cared about our wedding as much as we did.
