The Proper Way began when multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters Shane Osguthorpe and Scott Rogers met while playing a local festival. They established themselves as The Proper Way in 2016, when a promoter invited them to come for a series of shows in Lake Tahoe. After touring nonstop for two years, the band joined forces with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Carrie Myers to release Ain't No Good Thing Ever Dies, a collection of songs by Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, in 2018. Hi! We're Restless Vocal Band - award-winning, high energy, a cappella from the Greater Seattle Area. We're all the fun of a cover band but with voices only. The first wedding we ever played was our own! We are Ashlyn and Mason Buonocore: life-long musicians, total goofballs, and founders of The Wedding Band. When we got married in 2016, we asked Mason's high school band (and best friends) to play live music at our wedding. Ashlyn surprised Mason by singing "our" song, and Mason took a few turns behind the drums. Years later, we still had people saying it was the best dance party they'd ever been to. We started playing weddings for friends and family until we finally made it an official business in 2019. Thank you for supporting our dream!

Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
