Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Park Ridge, IL

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

So affordable, lots of options, and I didn’t have to dye/build bouquets myself. I’m thankful for them. A few boutonnières looked a little worse for wear, but we were happy nonetheless!

Le Langage Des Fleurs
Park Ridge, IL
  • Starts at $60 per arrangement

Flower`s symbolism originated in Asia and the Middle East, where certain flowers were considered sacred, or at least associated with spiritual themes. The language of flowers was introduced to Europe in the early 18th century by Mary Wortley. By that era, almost every flower had a specific meaning attached to it. We will try to show you how beautiful can nature be and how simple it can speak to you.

Bukky was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding (check out #ONana2023 for pictures and videos). She was very patient and always ready to resolve any issue on our wedding day. She showed up on time for planning meetings and due to her attention to details, I got exactly the wedding decor I wanted. We never regretted having her as our planning and decor vendor!! She was easy to talk to and was available to give recommendations when needed. One thing that stood out was she really put in every effort to ensure that she negotiated reasonable prices and deals for us

We had a destination wedding in Chicago so I wasn’t able to go around looking for florists. I found Deneige and her small business on Zola. I love that she runs a small business and I definitely wanted to support that. From the very beginning she was responsive and worked with me to make me my dream bouquet. I was even able to mail her a piece of my dress for her to use as the ribbon. She was prompt on delivery and even offered to come back to cut the stems if I thought they were too long! (They were perfect btw) Pricing was reasonable. 10/10 recommend this woman run small business!

Martin was simply the best vendor I worked with. He was kind, professional and basically read my mind. I was amazed with the quality of work and vision he had. In our consultation I told him the color of my bridesmaid colors (dusty lavender) and he magically plucked a rose of the same color from his supply. Martin knows the ins and outs of each flower he works with. He knows that with the weather, the flowers will pop over the wedding day more with time and care. My arch, center pieces, bouquets and boutonnieres were gorgeous. All of the guests were amazed. I literally cried when I saw it all come together. My maid of honor loved his work so much she booked him on the spot for her upcoming wedding. Martin was my rock through the entire process! I loved working with him!
