FIREHOUSE HISTORY OLD ENGINE HOUSE No. 35 The Fiirehouse was built in 1927 and was active until 1998. One of five bungalow style firehouse in Wisconsin (so truly one of a kind!) This firehouse was considered "Old Engine House No. 35 & Ladder Co. 16" and now named Story Hill FireHouse. Historic "bungalow style" firehouse was purchased in December 2018 by Janelle Meyer-Brown, owner/planner of evenement planning. Janelle brought new life to the Firehouse by opening walls and adding some modern touches to compliment the historic elements. She has designed the building to be a unique event venue option that will make your event ONE OF A KIND! Oh So Charming... walk into this amazing firehouse and it's classic touches! original wood trim throughout, terrazzo floors, original wood lockers, 13 foot ceilings. New accent lighting to fit the era and full tin ceilings in the engine bay leading out through the new 13 ft double custom wood carriage doors Come in and take a tour!

Barnwood Events is 10 minutes from Downtown Madison next to the Capital City Bike Trail in a park-like country setting. This brand new barn timber frame building is built with modern amenities for year round events. The venue includes free parking for up to 170 cars and an onsite renovated farmhouse that sleeps up to 14 guests. The barn seats up to 300 inside and has 8 acres of green space and large mature trees that include several options for outdoor or indoor ceremonies and receptions.

Four Winds Farm is a countryside wedding venue located in Fitchburg, just 10 minutes from Madison, WI. The newly restored 8,900 sq. ft. barn is the main attraction suitable for wedding receptions and ceremonies. Four Winds is a fully functional farm focusing on permaculture and can accommodate both small and large parties year-round. The barn, which holds 200 people, provides thoughtfully designed spaces that can be customized to suit your needs. The Loft is the most significant space on the barn's second level and has been updated and restored to enhance the gorgeous long wooden beams. This area is equipped with audio-visual hookups and speakers. The spacious kitchen and dining area was the newest addition during the refurbishment, and it includes a catering kitchen and a fireplace, creating a wonderful homely feeling. The attached patio space has direct access to several areas of the barn and is large enough to host an outdoor event all by itself.

The Venue at River's Edge is a recently restored Venue in downtown waterloo. Formerly the building was used as a community building before the city of waterloo had things like a school gym or a theater. At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions. The Ludlow Mansion is steeped in history from the early beginning as a homestead of a 3,000 acre farm and a stop on the underground railroad, to today as a preeminent regional gathering place for great events. The Mansion's grounds invite guests to enjoy friends and family under the shadow of its four two-story columned porch or its great white pergola. The Saddle Room bar offers both a comfortable lounge around its famous sunken bar or a patio chair to watch the sunset over the Mansion grounds. Extensive indoor spaces include a cavernous Carriage Hall which allows for a fabulous ceremony space with three giant chandeliers and can be converted dance central with party lights for the perfect late night experience. The Medina Wedding Chapel got its beginning in 1875 as a Methodist church. Because of decreasing membership in the three area Methodist churches in Greenville, Hortonville, and Medina, these congregations consolidated and built a new church in the Town of Greenville in 1969. In December 1993 we noticed that the Medina church was for sale. Both of us grew up on farms in Outagamie County and have an appreciation for old buildings and furnishings. When we looked at the inside of the church for the first time, it had been left sitting for 24 years. We spent time restoring it to its original condition.
