Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.

“Schaffer sound put together an amazing experience for us! They were very detailed in preliminary meetings, gave us lots of opportunities to customize the night and knew all the Jewish traditions! Steve was our DJ and he encouraged us to make a more customized playlist, he was very energetic, and the guests constantly said how great he was! Did everything perfectly”
