Eagle Manor is a pre-colonial waterfront estate built in 1736 that boasts 10 bedrooms with fireplaces and marble bathrooms. The acres of waterfront lawn are ideal for wedding ceremonies while the expansive 2300 sq. ft. river deck is perfect for cocktail hours. Our cathedral size historic dairy barn is ideal for rustic receptions. Eagle Manor is more picturesque than most parks, with peacocks and other ornamental birds roaming the grounds. Great images can be taken from the river deck, the waterfront lawn, the historic dairy barn, and any number of our freshwater ponds. Our spacious grounds do not limit your guest count and give the perfect background to your celebration.

The Winding Woods Venue is a luscious 11-acre secluded venue in the woods. Featuring 3 unique spaces to fit your vision: The Enchanted Forest, The Secret Garden, and The Waterfront Overlook. Our couples have access to the entire venue as we only host one event at a time giving all of our attention to you. We're a BYO venue with additional service and vendor options for a more inclusive experience. Choose for us to relieve some of those planning stresses for you or just support you as you plan the details instead. "Where the sky meets water." A country estate of the first order, Welkinweir is nestled into a hillside of 197 acres in the heart of Chester County. The property takes its name from the Old English translation of "where the sky meets the water." To this end, five ponds and a meandering brook are just the beginning of a true visual feast. Remnants of a 200-year-old stone barn, a springhouse, protected forests, abundant wildlife and a 55-acre arboretum paint a scene of incredible beauty and tranquility. Formal gardens and terraces surround the venerable estate house, its earliest roots traced back to the 1740s. Listed on the National Historic Register, the residence lends a time-honored backdrop for indoor/outdoor events. Welkinweir is the home of Green Valley Watershed Association, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to protect and preserve the water resources of Northern Chester County through advocacy and education. Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.

This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.
