Dom Petrellese is a professional guitarist, educator, arranger, and booking agent based in Washington DC. As a graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has had the opportunity to perform worldwide as both a bandleader and a sideman with noteworthy names such as The Drifters, Yakov Smirnoff, The Platters, The Coasters, The Temptations, and Lou Gazzara, just to name a few. His music career thus far has brought him to 60 different countries on 4 continents. While studying Jazz, Tyler has also been able to work with Jeff Antoniak; Steve Rochinski, head of Berklee’s harmony department; Kenny Rittenhouse; Mike Pope, and many others.

Formed in 1996 by harmonica player & songwriter Scott Spearly, guitarist Tim Mitchell and claw-hammer banjo champion Paul Mackrell, the combo initially performed as a steadfast trio throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia for nearly ten years. As their name and reputation as a hard-driving old-time hillbilly-jazz band has grown, The Knuckledusters now perform mostly as a group of five, taking to the interstates and stretching performances from Washington D.C. to New York.
