I have dabbled with photography off and on my whole life but I have been professional since 2014, and as of Fall 2018, photography is my full-time pursuit! I currently reside in Ridgefield, Washington with my partner and two cats that are basically my children, I’m obsessed with animals. I love to travel! I have lived in Washington my whole life and absolutely love this beautiful green state! I grew up right across the bridge from Portland, then moved to Seattle for 6 years, and now I'm back in Vancouver! For as long as I can remember, I've loved to take pictures. I got my first little film camera for Christmas when I was 8 years old. I’m a formally trained and creative photographer, originally from a little beach town on the south shore of Boston and love brought me to Oregon. I’m an easy going, small-town girl exploring this big, beautiful world, and sharing love stories along the way. I’ve always found happiness in the little things, but what I love the most are the people in my life. Whether they’re family, friends, clients or new faces, it’s all about connecting. So, being a photographer, I honestly feel blessed and honored to have a career that revolves around love, new beginnings, and happy memories.

I never meant to be a wedding photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.

I started taking photo’s when I was a little kid, it started with clouds and beautiful sunsets on an old wind up camera. Fast forward to my senior year in high school, my mom bought me a Canon powershot A95 as a graduation gift in 2005 (Thank you mom) and that gift changed everything and allowed me to take endless digital photos. Today I am shooting with a Nikon D600 and I love it! On my down time I enjoy playing instruments with my amazing wife Sophia and watching movies snuggled up on our couch with some wine.
