I was born and raised in Mississippi. I’ve moved a total of six times in my 23 years, and I’ve called four different cities home. I love my family, and they’ve always loved me throughout each of my phases. Down-home is the way of life I’m familiar with, and a piece of my heart will always rely on my roots. I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!
