I first started working for an Architectural Photography studio in 2001, after graduating from Photography School in Paris. Architecture photography is all about composition. I would go around the city photographing buildings and structures with those big cameras that you see in old movies. I'M SUSANNA. THE GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA. I'm a photographer based out of Boise, Idaho. I specialize in couples, lifestyle, weddings + everything raw, real and emotional. When i'm not photographing something you can find me exploring nature, hanging out at a concert or re-watching The Office (for the 100th time). I'm a lover of travel, animals, adventure, art, good food and making great memories. I've loved photography for as long as I can remember + I'm certain that capturing other people's stories + love is my passion and my calling.

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

I started my photography journey taking photos of my wife. Watching her come to life with confidence was the greatest feeling in the world. And when she used that confidence to overcome her negative self-image, I knew I was onto something. I initially set out to ensure everyone I worked with knew what this felt like. After shooting with models and brands for a few years, I was asked to photograph my first wedding and the experience was unreal. Watching the sheer joy and happiness of the couple on their big day was so heartwarming and pure. I fell in love with capturing couples and haven't looked back since!

One of my hats was filming video announcements and making camp videos for youth and children's church.
