Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. We are a small, boutique style florist on the south side of Chicago serving all of Chicagoland, NW IN, and S WI. We work closely with each and every couple to ensure their day is as unique as them; from city to country, and everything style in between!

We are a husband/wife team working from our home studio which focuses on one wedding per weekend allowing us to develop relationships with our clients. We take the time to learn about your vision and custom create one-of-a-kind arrangements using an array of color, texture and inspired design concepts. Choose from our many rental options for backdrop installations, altar designs, table centerpieces and much more. All weddings are full service with delivery and set-up. Strike may be included for an additional fee.
