A truly one of a kind 5,000 square foot space located above the ground floor, right above our bar Locked Barrel, with both elevator and stair access. Unique in its open-air design and self containment, it features two mezzanine style balconies, vaulted ceilings with chandeliers, large windows for natural light, natural wood floor, restrooms, and a full bar. The Historic Elks Tower Ballroom can seat 330 guests with use of the small mezzanine, up to 300 guests on the main floor by itself. As such, clients must hire licensed and insured vendors, including food and beverage, for their Lighthouse event. The Suisun Valley Inn is an intimate retreat at the historic 55-acre Monroe Ranch in the heart of Suisun Valley, just east of Napa. Originally called Cold Spring Ranch due to an ice cold spring. The Dorrington Hotel was built in 1852 by John Gardner who married Rebecca Dorrington and moved her out from Scotland. The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. This is the second temple in Oakland built from the ground up by the Scottish Rite Masonic fraternity since 1883, when it was first chartered in Oakland.
