We're an all-day bakery, café and Burmese-Californian restaurant housed in a 1927-era building on the site of Ojai’s first bakery. Daytime features fresh breads, pastries and seasonal breakfast and lunch fare, while nighttime shifts into an energetic restaurant showcasing Burmese cuisine, alongside farmers’ market-driven cocktails, regional craft beers and small production wines. Everything is crafted from beautiful ingredients, with the majority coming from within 50 miles. The entire restaurant features historic-inspired pieces sourced from local sellers, California flea markets, antique stores and more, all balanced with a fresh, clean and airy look. Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Our venue started as a music recording studio. We still have several studios that operate Monday through Friday. The event business was born out of people coming into the recording studios and asking if they could throw a party in our space and one thing led to another. We love hosting all different kinds of events from weddings, to parties, fundraisers, film shoots, and even the occasional small concert.

We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility in Downtown, Los Angeles for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: The multi-purpose community room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Features a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass that provide views of the courtyard.
