As mother of the bride, I had a wonderful experience with the staff, in particular Rain at the Baleen Kitchen. He was responsive and very good at communicating what was to happen. The vendors recommended by Portofino were excellent . It was a small wedding (23) with immediate family and everyone had a great time. The venue, food and staff absolutely terrific!

The hosts were clear about any parking instructions and drop off locations so it helped us immensely when needing to navigate any vendors and guests. The host also let us know that it can be a steep slope coming up so we too were prepared here with any cars or vendors. We had an onsite caterer who set up with a grill top outside on the backyard and licensed bartender on site. I truly look forward to recommending more clients and friends to this beautiful estate and encourage anyone to consider it for their next weekend getaway, shoot, or event. The hosts are so kind so don’t hesitate to communicate your plans with them and they’ll assist you along the way! Can’t wait to be back here again real soon!

We were looking for a unique venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. The playhouse was a great place that the kids could escape to to watch TV while their parents enjoyed the party. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) I appreciated her communication and patience walking me through things - planning a wedding myself was a task that was draining on me! One thing I didn’t realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn’t do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I’d like confetti, but she explained why she doesn’t allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn’t enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. We’ve started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn’t feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can’t wait to start reading her book. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

The hotel has a beautiful venue with plenty of parking. John (Director of Catering) was amazing to work with and helped make the planning process easy and stress free. I planned a wedding here in less than 6 months. From start to finish hands down an incredible experience. Jolene, amazing, kind, and thorough in explaining details when showing us the venue and figuring out contracts. Ryan - amazing. Always available for questions. Quick responses to emails. Very warm and friendly. Entertainment Express - Evan, planned our wedding minute by minute so the day of was perfect. Music was amazing. I got so many compliments on how organized everything was. We were always on track with the schedule and everything went so smoothly. The food.. I am still getting compliments on how great it was. I felt like the quality of my wedding should have taken over a year to plan and everyone at Padua made this happen in 5 months. I can’t thank everyone enough. Amenities- parking is easy, bathrooms so nice and easily accessible, bridal suite beautiful! Servers, staff, bartenders all wonderful. Tammy, my day of coordinator who came with the venue was incredible. She was always there, always knew what came next, and new exactly what I needed before it was done. From guiding me through the day to fixing my bustle she truly was the best. Any couple getting married here will have an amazing time guaranteed. Alyssa and Billy were fantastic at answering any questions that I had throughout this wedding process. They also helped set up as well the day of, they had a nice big fire place and heaters to keep my guest warm throughout the evening. I held my ceremony and reception there for about 30-40 people, it was the perfect size and place for this, could even fit more. I love just how easy and simple the whole process was, especially for guest for additional parking. The size of the cabins were great for getting ready on and for family to stay on site after the wedding. They also had amenities for bathroom, an onsite kitchen for food handling and a trash bin/cans as well. It fitted perfectly for the esthetic I was going for with so many trees and beautiful scenery of mountains.

Last October my son got married in down town LA. Grooms side from NY & Brides side from Dallas. Our family and friends all stayed at the Hoxton downtown. We ate, drank and partied for 4 days. The hotel and staff were generous and accommodating in every way. The good bye Sunday brunch was warm and comfortable, I felt as if I was home. The food was remarkable. If I need a hotel in LOS ANGELES I would stay at the Hoxton every time.

From the process they made simple and easy, to the mostly inclusive venue (you just need a few additional vendors), to our guests having affordable rooms on site to enhance the experience. We customized our day to fit our vision and the team (Niki, Michelle, Chef, Thomas, etc) was amazing at supporting us to have the perfect day! We enjoyed the beautiful venue, the delicious customized food, a large getting ready room fit for the Kardashian’s, the photo opportunities in some special spots (IYKYK), the cocktail reception, the service/coordination (finding a last minute sewing kit to fix a bridesmaid’s dress with reassuring smiles), the honeymoon suite… our wedding weekend was perfection (and our guests all agree)!
