Hi! My name is Laura & I'm so happy you are here reading this little bio because it means we just might be a great match! (WooHoo:) Quick 411 on me:) I've been married now for over 26 years & counting! My hubby Guy and I were both born and raised in Southern Ca. but met in Utah at a Sundance work Christmas party and even though it wasn't love at first sight, it was pretty darn close🖤 We have 3 beautiful kids and a handsome son in-law! Something unexpected about me (for most people:) is that I'm a new "chicken mom" my kids think I've lost it, but really they have just been replaced is all haha-I'm kind of obsessed with them! Haha:)

I started 1828 Collective in 2016 after I realized that capturing relationships and telling love stories was my passion. Four years later I'm so in love with my job that I often forget I'm working. I am so glad you're here! I LOVE my family and I am OBSESSED with anything Kate Spade and if I could live in yoga pants, I would. My favorite thing to do other than photography is cook. I am lucky my husband and kiddos love eating as much as they do! We love the beach and anything Disney! I fully believe in having ice cream for breakfast and I cannot pass by a good Italian restaurant without going in. My heart melts when my boy says I love you or kisses my cheek. Being a photographer has allowed me to freeze some of our sweetest moments and I hope to be able to do that for you. xoxo

I fell in love with photography about 15 years ago when I started travelling the world. I was always coming back home and showing my family and friends pictures that I'd taken while away from home. I used to have multiple scrapbooks with photos and small stories attached to them. My heart fell in love with photojournalism. Telling someone's story through photos is my favorite thing to do.
