As a wedding photographer, my connection to my couples is more important to me than anything else. Serving couples getting married in dreamy wedding locations, whether it’s a vineyard in Carmel Valley or a beach wedding in Monterey, fills my heart with so much joy. It’s always a thrill to return to venues I love, but with nearly 100 weddings in my portfolio, it still surprises me how different each and every wedding day truly is. As your wedding photographer, a significant part of my role is to consider the fine art aspects of the galleries I create. Things like choosing the best light to fall over your wedding gown, balancing compositions, blending color, and layering textures to create dynamic and beautiful images. But it's much bigger than that. Photographs tell our stories, reveal emotion in ways that words can't, and offer the gift of visual legacy. An artfully told story transcends time. You might catch me watching Emily in Paris while snuggled next to our giant lap dogs Lulu and Buddy or traveling the world to inspiring places with my husband (and best friend) Audie. I studied photography at the Academy of Art University in my favorite city by the bay, San Francisco. I continuously develop and modernize my knowledge and experience by utilizing my member resources provided by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Association.
