Castle Unicorn is located on a 400-acre private estate in the Loess Hills of Iowa and is located only 20 minutes from downtown Omaha. The Castle and outdoor Pavilion provide a breathtaking backdrop for both your wedding and reception. At Castle Unicorn, we have inclusive packaging that includes nearly everything you will need to make your planning and your wedding day less hectic.

Our Century Old Red Barn breathes authenticity. Built in 1898, you will be drawn to the wood-pegged hand-hewn beams the moment you step through the immense sliding barn door into this stunning space. An exquisite crystal chandelier adds elegance to our rustic character. During your 3-day rental, you may celebrate slowly; host your rehearsal dinner on-site for no extra charge, enjoy your wedding and reception the next day, and leave the cleaning for the final day. Our spacious venue seats over 300 guests, in addition, our well-groomed lawns are for the perfect setting for the outdoor ceremony you desire. We are nestled within acres of rolling open countryside. From our large pergola deck, the sunsets over the surrounding fields are breathtaking, often reflected off the surface of our small lake. The Cardiff Center at Fort Frenzy boasts a 6,500 + square foot event center / reception space that was specifically designed to transform into an event venue that comfortably accommodates 400 + people. In 2019 a substantial bar area and modern flooring as well as vestibule was added to the space. The lobby, also included with the rental, adds roughly 500 additional square feet of space. State-of-the-art technology & sound & gorgeous chandeliers, as well as friendly bar staff are among several of the offerings included with the space. (Not to mention all of the "givens" expected of an exceptional event venue, including clean restrooms and dependable air conditioning.) The Cardiff Center at Fort Frenzy has all the amenities you’d expect from a premiere event venue with unlimited possibilities. The Alta House Event Center is a hidden gem conveniently located off I-80 and 37 minutes East of Des Moines. Conveniently located near several hotels within minutes of your venue for your guests, overnight accommodations are also available right on site. We are surrounded by plenty of photo ops, such as our on-site pond, heavily wooded areas, the Thirty-acre park, open fields, and breathtaking sunsets as your backdrop. We have several packages available no matter your budget; we will find the right package for you. The most popular package is our "Wedding Weekend Package," providing full access for 48 hours, allowing you the freedom to host rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and even brunch the following morning, all in one convenient location. Conveniently located in Winterset, Iowa we are a premier event venue with 5,760 square feet of space and room to seat up to 250 guests. Situated on 4.65 acres in the heart of Madison County. Our rustic facility is the perfect choice for barn weddings near Des Moines. Our property is also just 19 minutes away from Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. Our venue features a large, welcoming fireplace, exposed knotty pine hardwood, rustic beams, corrugated steel, and incandescent lighting that casts a warm, inviting glow. We welcome our guests to bring in the vendors of their choice. A catering room, accommodations for a band/DJ, and a bride and groom lounge are all available. Tamory Hall contains 9,000 square feet of event space, and happily welcomes celebrations with up to 300+ attendees. The property features an elegantly appointed get-ready room for you to use with your wedding party, preparing for the day ahead in elegance and exclusivity. The hall is also within walking distance of Pella’s Central Park, for romantic outdoor photo opportunities. If you have guests who decide to stay in town for your wedding, they will have a wealth of hotels to choose from.

In 2000, Steven Nissen planted the first vines of what now has become a thirteen acre vineyard. The dream of Prairie Moon is to grow high quality grapes to create fine estate wines in the Midwest. With the unique growing season and agricultural environment, we believe our products reflect the ideal native Iowan wine. Among the acreage, there are many grape varieties. The luscious rows host hybrid and native American grapes that provide beautiful tastes to the palate. Prairie Moon encourages everyone to support Iowa wineries, alongside all local businesses!

The former Elk’s building was built in the colonial-revival style of architecture. Wide porches, supported by large columns, extend along the entire front of the building, with the upper balcony extending over the entrance in artistic architectural detail. On October 21, 1900, the cornerstone was laid for Lodge No. 531, B.P.O.E. on the north side of Bayliss Park in the heart of Council Bluffs. The inside of the building is furnished in classic Victorian style with rich burgundy and green hues. The original cigar stand and bundle counter is located immediately to the right of the front entrance. The grand oak stairway curves to the right and to the left and draws you up to the second-floor reception area and a ballroom that features a hard maple floor and mahogany-paneled walls. The second floor balcony provides guests with a breathtaking view of Bayliss Park and its beautiful fountain.

Parks Marina on East Lake Okoboji was established in 1983 when Leo “Butch” Parks purchased the then Gibson Sporting Goods. What was once a small fishing boat sales and repair facility. Parks Boat Club is located in Okoboji, Iowa, with views overlooking spectacular East Lake Okoboji. This one of a kind lakeside venue is the perfect location to host any wedding, with facilities to have your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and more! Our venue boasts indoor and outdoor access to the panoramic views of East lake Okoboji, making it perfect for weddings in all seasons.

1969 was the last Presbyterian service. In 2012, artist Zack Jones purchased this 1873 church as a artist live/work space. Today the studio apartment is available for the wedding party and preparations. Art Church Weddings is located in a 1873 de-sanctified Church in Malvern, IA. and is a permanent gallery to oil painter Zack Jones. Better known as Art Church Iowa, this unique building is coming back to life with exhibits, concerts, and private events.
