Hello, my name is Nolan and I'm the owner of Solefire Films! I've always had a big passion for making films and capturing moments, and have had a camera in my hands for a pretty long time. My dad owned and operated a photography & video production company while I was growing up so I started filming with him nearly 20 years ago. Not long after that, my mom became a producer for PBS and I was lucky to be able to work on some projects with her.

Our films are always couple-centric, YOU are always the most important aspect of the film we will create together. We want to tell your story, exactly as you want it to be told, using our experience and aesthetic guidance. Filmmaking has always been a passion of mine. It’s the one area where things seemed to have come natural for me. From an early age I always enjoyed playing with a video camera. ​I was first offered to film a wedding for a friend back in 2016 and instantly clicked with it. What to capture and how to capture it fell into place neatly. All the years behind a lens helped me quickly find my creative edge.

Hello, I am Alexius. I was born and raised right here in the good ole North Carolina. I live in Raleigh now, but I was raised in a small town of "Midway" (right outside of Winston-Salem). I came to Raleigh back in 2012 to attend NC State University and made Raleigh my permanent home. I found my passion for photography about five years ago and still amazed at the places that my little camera has taken me. I am even more amazed at the friends I have made while pursuing my passion for photography and filmmaking.
