Valerie Caviness, NYC native is one of the most diverse photographers with a career spanning over the last 20 years. Valerie started out in editorial photography and branched out to events, commercial and architectural photography. In 2010 she took a position as the head photographer at the NYSE. Her position covered many areas of photography including, photojournalism, events, marketing, and portraiture. In 2017 Valerie branched out on her own to continue working with clients, focusing on corporate events and marketing. In 2020, she shifted her business to Weddings . She now lives in Albany with her husband and 3 children.

I’m Cass, and I truly LOVE what I do! Everyone has a story; my lifelong love for creativity and background in the Arts have played a huge role in developing my own personal photography style and it's made me who I am today! Born and raised in the gorgeous Hudson Valley, I've always loved being outdoors. Incorporating the beauty of nature and landscapes into my work is one of my favorite things!

Jamal started his career as a photojournalist, documentary filmmaker, and movie cameraman for the United Nations. He received a Gold Medal at the Film Festival in Brussels, Belgium for his outstanding work. What keeps me wanting to photograph more weddings is the realization that every wedding carries a different story longing to be told. No two weddings have ever felt the same to me, and when I walk into yours, all the images I have made at other weddings are forgotten. I see it a bit like jazz, or French cuisine--the ingredients are simple and pretty much always the same, but the outcomes are always unique, never to be reproduced to the identical.
