Ephemirus

5.0

Somerville, MA

EPHEMIRUS is a floral design studio based in Boston serving New England and afar. My goal is twofold:  1. to design thoughtful event + wedding fleurs that authentically capture and celebrate a moment in time 2. to create an intimate, immersive, and unique experience where my clients feel taken cared of and amazed With an emphasis on local and foraged florals, EPHEMIRUS celebrates seasonality and space. Like cooking, we know the quality of each ingredient is paramount to achieving the final vision. It's important that my work is intentional, intuitive and visually stunning. I want my florals to always feel like a thoughtful gift.

Working with Cailla at Ephemirus was a great experience! From the beginning, she listened to our vision and provided great insights on what would work best. Coming from someone who knows little about floral work, she was incredibly helpful throughout the process, and put us at ease about how everything would come together! She even constructed a mandap for our Hindu-fusion ceremony, which was a difficult element to plan. Her florals speak for themselves with how beautiful they were - not only did we love them, so did our family and friends!

    Bluebird Bouquets

    5.0

    Somerville, MA

My passion for floristry began at a young age alongside the caring guidance of my grandmother. To me, flowers tell a story of family, about who we are and where we come from. Today, Bluebird Bouquets shares these meaningful moments with others through thoughtfully crafted floral pieces for life's special moments.

It’s challenging to put into words how much we loved all our wedding flowers and how well they captured our personalities and suited the settings we chose for our ceremony and reception. We’ve been fans of Haley’s work via the Boston Women’s Market for several years now because of her unique and vibrant arrangements that blend classic style with innovative combinations and silhouettes, and she was the first person we thought of for floral arrangements when we started to plan our wedding. Working with Haley is such a delight! She was very patient with us since we don’t know much about flowers ourselves, and was able to create truly stunning arrangements given our chosen colors and themes. We also thought it was really special how she was able to make arrangements for each of our wedding party members that would suit them; we both had all-gender wedding parties and Haley was able to provide boutonnières, bouquets, and cuffs for party members depending on their roles and preferences. As the bride and groom, our favorite parts were the two large arraignments that framed our ceremony and added a lot of personality and definition to our wedding photos. Haley even delivered our flowers to the ceremony and reception venues on the day of our wedding. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! We would highly recommend her for any event.

Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with! We got married at a very logistically challenging venue - on an island in Maine only accessible by ferry, and we had two days of events. Despite these challenges, Jessica went above and beyond, figuring out how to get the flowers onto the island a few days in advance, and even renting a refrigerated trailer to keep the flowers fresh before the big day. Leading up to the wedding, Jessica was extremely organized, communicative, and responsive and was always happy to hop on the phone to chat through design or logistical questions. She did a fabulous job of understanding the vision and translating it to designs that complemented the surroundings and were within budget. And I loved her emphasis on local, seasonal florals. She also did a great job of designing arrangements that could be re-used across events (e.g. ceremony to reception), allowing us to maximize the impact of each flower we brought on island. On the weekend of the wedding, she was extremely on top of everything and made sure the venue and our coordinator knew where everything was meant to go. When she handed me my bouquet I almost cried, it was so beautiful! We cannot thank Jessica enough for all her hard work in making our flower dreams come true, and would recommend A Natural Arrangement to any brides looking for a fabulous, creative, talented florist.

Midsummer Flowers is a woman-founded floral design studio based in North Central Massachusetts. We create one-of-a-kind floral designs for weddings and other celebrations and events that combine the perfect balance of romance and whimsy.

Tracy with Midsummer Flowers was an absolute delight to work with for my special day. She took all my ideas, budget, and event constraints/timings into consideration and produced beautifully tasteful arrangements and flowers. I am not the easiest of clients to please and I had specific colors that needed used. I could not be happier with the final result, and I have been asked multiple times by other guests who I used for the flowers and centerpieces. She truly took one major element of my wedding off my hands, something I no longer had to stress and worry about and produced beautiful results. I highly recommend her and her creative vision and will definitely call her again for future events!

      Jeri Solomon Floral Design

      5.0

      Stoneham, MA
      • Starts at $6,500

Jeri Solomon Floral Design is a studio floral company specializing in weddings. We create floral decor that is classic and timeless which your guests will rave about and you will love for years to come.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Jeri's genuine talent is obvious (just look at all her beautiful photos!) but it's her creativity, her industry knowledge, and her calming demeanor that make her even more spectacular! In fact, here are two examples where those traits positively impacted my wedding day... 1. My husband and I chose a very unique venue for our wedding reception (and old church in Portland, Maine). In talking to Jeri about the design for our wedding she came up with an incredible idea... instead of clear glass containers for our centerpieces she suggested we use colored glass containers to play off of the stained-glass windows within the church. Not only did Jeri come up with this brilliant idea but she found the PERFECT deep blue containers that matched the overall color scheme for the wedding. The containers looked stunning with all of Jeri flowers and were a detail we received MANY compliments on! 2. The second example that I am going to share actually comes from my husband. While recapping the day he said something to me that I thought was pretty great. He said that while Jeri was assisting him and his groomsmen with their boutonnieres that she reminded him to stay in the moment because the day was going to fly by. He said that Jeri's words were just what he needed to hear and he shared how thankful he was for her reminder because it really helped him appreciate each part of the day. In conclusion, I knew the moment I got engaged that I would ask Jeri to do my flowers and it was easily one of the best decisions that I made! So, it's easy to say that I would highly recommend Jeri Solomon Floral for your big day!

Zoe was great to work with. From inclusive language on her website to her happiness to craft a cat-friendly bouquet, I'm so happy with how everything looked. We received many compliments on the primary bouquet, and the reception flowers incorporated the touches of home I was looking for. Something Borrowed Blooms

          4.8

          Lafayette, LA
          • Starts at $250
          • Serves Somerville, MA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

We got married in June in NC and the average temp the week of our wedding was in the mid 90s - so hot! I saw a lot of other brides in local groups worried about how their flowers would look / handle the weather but that thought never crossed my mind. I rented my flowers from SBB and it was amazing. They shipped right to my wedding planners home a few days ahead of the wedding and although the boxes were pretty beat up the flowers were perfect. On the day she set them up and they looked wonderful - my only regret is that I didn't get my bouquet or my grooms flowers from them. I got them from a local florist and they were a huge disappointment. If I ever host another event in the US I will 100% be using SBB for the floral!
