“The Hook Club team is THE BEST to work with. They are reliable, reasonable, fun, helpful, and most importantly, incredibly talented. We had a truly wonderful time working with Dan who runs the band (and also happens to be an incredibly talented musician). He was super flexible as we changed our wedding plans due to COVID, came to our wedding venue to make sure they could make the best use of the space and maximize acoustic quality, and had great suggestions. Dan also took the time to speak with our wedding planner and answer multiple questions, worked well with other vendors, and went above and beyond to make the night awesome (he even stayed to emcee the event as a surprise to us!) “We met Denise when she DJ'd a friend's wedding and it was the most fun reception I'd ever attended. I knew she HAD to be my DJ if ever I got married! From day 1 of meeting with her for our wedding, it was clear that her goal was to give us the best party of our lives, whatever that looked like to us. She had great advice throughout the entire process and took time to get to know us and what style/vibe we wanted for our reception. Communication is key, and she had the logistics of the reception planned down to the minute. The music portal is very user friendly and it was really fun to think through our music. If you need song advice, she's your gal. She will strictly adhere to your do NOT play list. She gets the guests engaged and is truly a party starter (if that's what you want). Our guests told us they were sore the next morning because they literally never left the dance floor. Many have asked us to do an annual anniversary party and have Denise DJ it. “My friend hired and coordinated with Luis from lionizing entertainment as a DJ for our engagement party in July. It was our first time meeting him at the party and from the beginning he was professional and personable. He made sure we had the type of music we wanted and kept people dancing. We were so happy with his services so we decided to hire him to DJ our wedding this past weekend as well. We originally had a summer wedding planned and decided to move it up sooner. Luis was so flexible and understanding when we reached out about the date change and we were still able to work with him for our new date. Throughout the planning process Luis was super responsive whenever we needed anything and he would check in to make sure we didn’t have any questions and he was more than prepared for our big day. He kept the night running smoothly despite the changes we made to the schedule of events at the last minute. Throughout the night he checked in with us and advocated for everything we needed. Our other vendors came up to us and said how much they loved working with Luis and how easy it was to get along with him. We decided to add a photo booth at the last minute and we are so glad we did because all of our guests were obsessed! Everyone used it all night and we got to keep the high quality photos after. The Photo Booth was so much of a hit we are renting it for our baby shower coming up in the spring as well.
