Virginia Floral Design & Events was founded by Tina Dolan in Virginia Beach and specialize in weddings and events ranging from small intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Tina and her team work with each client individually to ensure that every detail is a reflection of them and the occasion, never creating the same design twice. We LOVE to celebrate! At our initial consultation, we want to get to know you and develop an overall aesthetic for your special event. Riverwood Designs creates wedding and special event floral designs and provides wedding and event planning management services. Because Riverwood Designs is not a retail storefront, our clients are people we get to know, and they get to know us. We work with each client individually, whether in an in-person meeting, a virtual meeting, over the phone, or via email. We custom-fit each client with designs that fit their tastes, style, and vision.

Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

I'm Jessica! After planning my own wedding, I fell in love with all things wedding & design and began my journey as a wedding coordinator. From there, I decided to learn floral design, and I've been creating beautiful, garden style arrangements ever since. When I'm not designing florals, you can find me spending time with my four cats and two pups, indulging in some Taco Bell, or getting lost in a good romance novel. I believe that the floral arrangements should be a reflection of your personality and style, and I work closely with each of my clients to create designs that are both elegant and unforgettable.

I am the owner and lead designer at Songbird Floral Studio. A native New Yorker that has been "Southerized" (so I have been told!) I studied interior design while living in NY. But then...I met this sailor that brought me to Virginia. I was fortunate to find a job in floral designs. Almost 15 years later and I am still loving it! I love to take classes and always improve what I can do for our clients. Coming up with designs for weddings is truly what I love to do. I feel so blessed to love what I do and to be a part of our couples wedding day. I have a wonderful husband and two grown children that are always supportive and helpful.

We use the freshest materials with expert care and craftsmanship, from sources both locally and around the world. We love dramatic, eclectic, eccentric, and beautiful design.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion. Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
