Aloha! I'm Roman. I've been living on the magical island of O'ahu since I came to UH Manoa in 2009 for my Economics Degree. I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

Sean is a two-time Na Hoku Hanohano (Hawaiian Grammy) Award-winning songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist based out of Honolulu, Hawai'i. Described as an "innovative singer-songwriter and prolific performer who plays pop, rock, and soul" by The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, his music can in one moment be introspective and refined, and in the next, fiery and emotional. Blending together a hooky pop-songwriting aesthetic with the raw emotion of his electric guitar, Sean traverses and synthesizes the frenetic passion of rock and blues with the sultry sounds of r&b, jazz, and soul.

Aloha, I'm Joshua Nakazawa, Hawaii Symphony Orchestra cellist and owner of Mana Music Hawaii. Over the past 5 years, Mana Music has accomplished many things such as winning Album of the Year in the 2021 Hoku awards, becoming the trusted partners to the top venues in Hawaii, and performing on stage with some of Hawaii’s most famous stars! Mana Music is a supporter of culture and education in Hawaii, and loves collaborating with others who share similar interests in expression through music. It is our goal as performers to be an extension of your image, ideals, intentions, and feelings through musical expression for any occasion.

I emcee most of my events because that is what I am well known for in Hawaii. I am not over the top but I deliver a smooth, non-intrusive show and program for guests to enjoy. I don’t like to get in the way of the “Life of the Party” I encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and allow them to experience their fun with friends and family. Being in public and having fun with others is not always an easy task for some. But if I can encourage “just one person” to be themselves and don’t worry about what people think about their dancing I feel I did more than make a person dance. I feel like I built their self-esteem.

I've been djing since I was 15 years old. I had a fascination for parties and events at an early age. I tagged along with my brother who dj'd at house parties back in the early 80's. I was hooked after seeing how much joy the music brought out in the crowd. I started buying my own 12" records, and it evolved into doing my own gigs: house parties, jr. high & high school dances, colleges, raves, underground parties, night clubs, weddings, corporate events, and so on. I started my DJ business in 1987, and have been honing my craft now for 3 decades. Thirty plus years later, I continue to love what I do. Now let's get the party started.
