I have been a photographer for a little over 3 years and have loved every moment of it! There is no better work of art than you, and that's what makes your photos absolutely perfect - my goal is for you to see how much I love it and for you to love it as well. A bit about myself, I am a free spirit and have a romantic soul and am run by lists, organization and tradition. Hey, there! I'm Jen, the stargazing, swing dancing, singing in the car lead photographer and owner of BlueVerve Studio. A creative through and through, I spend my spare time writing, sketching, and snuggling with Andy (my SO, and main 2nd photographer) and our two fur babies, Cali and Hobbes. I’m equal parts romantic and pragmatic, and nearly incapable of saying no to pie. Growing up playing in the darkroom of my dad's print shop is where I first fostered my love of photography. Over the years that love grew during family trips to the mountains, creative projects in college, and an ever-present desire to document and preserve/share stories.

I like to think of myself as a storyteller with a camera. For me, it’s the emotions of the day, the people who are a part of it, and the details that make photography special. It’s the way a groom watches his bride walk down the aisle or the special look dad gives his daughter as he dances with her on her wedding day. It’s the giggles that come from a family as they play and laugh in a park. Those relationships are what matters. Those are the moments that I capture.
