Zoé Alexander is an award-winning Salt Lake City, Utah, based commercial photographer and video producer specializing in photographic digital stills & video images, high-end digital imaging, and video production professionally since 2000. She shoots under the umbrella of advertising agencies, celebrity portraits, and major publications along with the occasional weddings (because she's a romantic).

I have the most amazing memories from childhood of being cuddled up with my Granny going through old pictures. The joy and nostalgia that came from those old film photos where everything. My favorite part was always looking up at my Granny as she got lost in each individual memory, seeing her face shape shift in moments of grief over the past and then instant joy because she knew that she could relive that moment as long as she had those photos. Every time I pick up my camera I strive to create tangible moments that will last a lifetime.

From examining the incredible cathedrals in Italy to admiring a show-stopping wedding, she revels in the delight an immersive experience brings but appreciates fully what it took to get there. Captivated by everything old world, she pushes herself to create imagery that embody these very inspirations. Steph has an insatiable curiosity for how things work. Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm a traveling adventurous elopement photographer for couples who want an out of the ordinary wedding experience. I help my couples plan unique elopement that are hand-tailored to who they are as a couple.

To me photographs are special. They’re more than simple images, but they’re precious heirlooms full of memories, stories, and emotions that allow one to experience this all in one glance. It connects people to other people, communities, and to God. As a result, I believe it is an incredible honor to be a herald for you. There’s a deep level of beauty and genuineness within your story. Therefore, rather than molding your story into a false narrative to fit a standard wedding template, I’m a firm believer in artistically preserving your story of one of the most important days of your lives.

If I’m not busy photographing people, tending to my two fur children, studying medicine, or being a firewife, you can catch me on the couch with snacks and Grey’s Anatomy or out adventuring with my husband. What I love about my job is being a part of someones most special moments of their life. How cool is it that I get to help plan a surprise proposal?! Or witnessing two lovers enjoy time together? How about a pregnancy announcement?! I love every second of being a part of something so much bigger than myself.

I photograph weddings and have a darn good time doing it. I enjoy getting to know the couples I work with, and being welcomed into their weddings as family. This familiarity is what lets me document the day unobtrusively, and capture genuine moments as they unfold, allowing you to remain focused on the present moment.
