Our wedding day was a dream come true! A true garden paradise and we were so reluctant to have found Stonehurst. The venue have so many beautiful spaces to work with. We didn’t a venue that is just a blank canvas and loved that the Stonehurst have so many lush gardens filled with unique plants and flowers which made it so much easier when it came to our decor! Nancy and her staff were very helpful and made sure our day was perfect. She was always there to answer our million questions! This venue is really a hidden gem.

The Enchanted Manor

5.0

Valley Village, CA
  • Up to 100 guests
  • Raw space
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $3,800

The Enchanted Manor offers you a one-of-a-kind, romantic and unforgettable wedding experience. Our facility allows your wedding dreams to come true and your planning stress to disappear. The casual yet elegant atmosphere lends itself for guest to immediately feel comfortable to mingle with guest. People are in awe of its magical vibe The Enchanted Manor emanates. They come as strangers and leave as friends. The grounds have an outside fireplace with comfortable seating. The octagon gazebo bar with the thatched roof gives the feel of being in a tropical paradise. There is also a fire pit which adds to the ambience as well as keeping people warm on cooler nights. The lighting is magical at night with the grotto pool changing colors and the twinkle lights in the trees. Feels like you're in a fairytale. Because of the special ambiance, The Enchanted Manor is chosen for many kinds of themed events.

We were looking for a unique venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted it to be outdoors and a place for both a reception and the ceremony so that our guests wouldn't have to travel between the two. The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. The playhouse was a great place that the kids could escape to to watch TV while their parents enjoyed the party. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) I appreciated her communication and patience walking me through things - planning a wedding myself was a task that was draining on me! One thing I didn’t realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn’t do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I’d like confetti, but she explained why she doesn’t allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn’t enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. We’ve started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn’t feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can’t wait to start reading her book. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

Adding charm are brilliantly colored koi, regal peacocks, curious turtles, giant bullfrogs, stately blue herons, and wild deer and their babies. Your guests will never be bored. All this is in the famed Laurel Canyon, two traffic lights from Hollywood Blvd. When your celebration is at the legendary Houdini Estate, don't expect empty chairs — people do come and will remember your Houdini event for a lifetime.

The most romantic, luxury wedding venue in all of L.A. county including Beverly Hills and Malibu. The Houdini Estate is a stunning private property in the Hollywood Hills. The grounds are absolutely fabulous, the team is first-class including the Properry Manager and Wedding Planner which comes with the venue. The planning team is award-winning, provides exceptional service, and knows the venue better than anyone. Don't waste time hiring another planner. Jessica and her Three Little Birds team were the MVP of our wedding day. When you rent the venue you rent it overnight so you don't have to leave at midnight or 1AM. There is a home on the property which sleeps up to 8 people. My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner there on Nov 30th, had our wedding on Dec 1st and spent the night before checking out at 1pm the next day. It was the perfect getaway. We swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub after breakfast (just us two). It was dreamy. Because of their exceptional planning team, we didn't lift a finger except to feed one another. 50 out of 10 highly recommend for any luxury bride.

The Sanctuary by Wedgewood Weddings

5.0

Long Beach, CA
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $7,915

An intimate, historic cathedral in the heart of Long Beach, the ideal spot for a gorgeous vintage wedding. This historic wedding and event venue will delight your guests with its rustic and elegant atmosphere. Enjoy an outdoor wedding ceremony in the alfresco courtyard, surrounded by the beautiful cathedral, wrought iron features, and stained glass windows. Similarly, indoor ceremonies delight in the historic cathedral with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and a spacious floor plan. Pair your ceremony space with the Grand Hall for an elegant reception with similar vintage features found throughout the rest of the cathedral. Complete your entire wedding with any one of our customizable packages. Make The Sanctuary by Wedgewood Weddings your preferred choice to celebrate your first moments as newlyweds.

Wedgewood Weddings has been around for generations, and for good reason. When I began planning for our wedding, I was overwhelmed with choices – choices I didn't even know I needed to concern myself with. Because of this, I knew from the get go that I would need an all-inclusive venue, but I didn't expect to find one with the flexibility, collaboration, and intention that Wedgewood provides for their couples. I would recommend this company over and over again, and I can only sing the highest of praises for The Sanctuary in Long Beach as a venue and for the staff that works there. Thank you, truly, for the effort you put into coordinating an organized, beautiful wedding. We appreciate the attentiveness, were impressed by the execution, and grateful for the overall warmth and kindness of your staff to us and our loved ones. I received SO many compliments about the whole day and how seamless everything was. I couldn't have done it without any of you! If we had the budget to have a second and third wedding, I'd do it all over again and I'd do it with Wedgewood. (Which, I hope speaks volumes to the quality of their service because I know many brides that definitely would not go through the wedding planning process ever again.) I also wanted to extend a special thank you to our coordinator, Mason: Thank you for doing all you could to ensure an enjoyable experience. Not a single detail we discussed over all the months of planning was missed. You truly helped orchestrate the successful execution of my vision for the wedding, and I'm really glad you were there.

La Venta Inn

5.0

Palos Verdes Estates, CA
  • Up to 180 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920’s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920’s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

I had a wonderful time working with La Venta Inn and wouldn't have changed anything about our wedding day! The food (Made by Meg Catering) was amazing and all of our guests were raving about it. We were originally supposed to have our ceremony at Wayfarers Chapel and we were told a few weeks before about it closing. La Venta made it extremely easy to navigate through the change in venue and was so helpful. Originally, there were some hiccups in communication, but they were eventually all cleared up by the helpful staff. The venue itself is breathtaking and I would suggest anyone looking for a classy, timeless venue to look no further.

The Majestic Downtown

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 550 guests
  • Limited services
  • Outdoor

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

The Majestic was a DREAM to work with, we also used Ashton as our coordinator and she was a GOD SEND. Our guests still talk about our wedding and how smoothly everything went, and that was hands down thanks to Ashton and her team. They were all super easy to work with, very communicative, overall an amazing experience!
