With intimate gardens and spectacular views of the Hudson River and New Jersey Palisades, Wave Hill offers the most romantic setting in New York City for your unforgettable wedding. Your ceremony takes place at the Pergola on the Great Lawn, with your cocktail hour there— or on either the Lower Lawn or the Kate French Terrace adjacent to historic Wave Hill House. Dinner is held in Armor Hall. Capacity there is capped at 130 guests, including a small band and dance floor in the Hall. If you choose to locate the dance floor nearby in the adjacent Mark Twain Room, then capacity increases to a limit of 180 guests. Weddings at Wave Hill take place only in the evening, with guests arriving after the gardens have closed to the general public. Only one evening event is booked per date to ensure your event is private and exclusive. All events work with our exclusive caterer Great Performances to create a personalized, quality experience for you and your guests.

As seen on HGTV's Frozen in Design, The Mod House is a wedding venue located 90 minutes from Manhattan in Ellenville, New York. Celebrate your big day at a luxurious midcentury modern retreat in the Catskill Mountains with a secret speakeasy inside it. The 4200-square-foot Mod House is an architectural gem built in 1959 by a follower of the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows connect the spacious interior to the natural world outside. You can tie the knot on the lawn with a lush forested backdrop. After the ceremony, revel with your guests in Love, Velma, an underground speakeasy and dance club within the venue. The speakeasy comes fully equipped with a bar, projector, stage, and lights. Love, Velma is wheelchair accessible and can host up to 100 guests, with parking available for up to 40 cars. Four bedrooms are available if you prefer to stay on-site on the wedding night. A large open kitchen can accommodate caterers.

Based in Yardley, Pennsylvania, Makefield Highlands is an elegant historic wedding venue outside of Philadelphia. Catskill views abound at this lovely Hudson Valley B&B, whose lush five-acre plot looks out across Shawangunk Ridge. At the property's heart, a gorgeous Dutch Colonial farmhouse greets guests with 18th-Century charm. Wed beneath the pretty gazebo, followed by cocktails in the 250 year-old Locust Grove, which also features the covered Bluestone Patio. Follow with a tented, seated or floating reception on the lawn or in the Great Room. Wrap up the celebration with dancing on the patio and a festive bonfire sendoff. The B&B sleeps up to 14 guests in the beautiful main farmhouse rooms, and the lovely, open-plan Carriage House.
