The Kemp (1300 Lamar Street) was built in 1917 at the request of Flora Kemp who, when asked by her husband Joseph what she would like for her birthday, suggested a public library. The library opened its doors in 1918 with a donation of 4000 books provided by the community. In 1998, the City of Wichita Falls leased the then-defunct historic building to the Arts Council, which began an extensive renovation project to restore the building. The result was The Kemp Center for the Arts, which opened it’s doors in 2002.

We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! The National WASP (Women AirForce Service Pilots) WWII Museum is a spacious museum venue located in Sweetwater, TX. This multi-purpose establishment provides modern event spaces equipped with a variety of event options to make special days held here a success. The National WASP WWII Museum was founded in 2006 to provide a dedicated space to preserve the history and promote the legacy of women in military aviation. Located at historic Avenger Field, the museum features various indoor and outdoor event spaces that can be easily transformed to suit any event themes and styles.

The Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University enriches life in our community and the university through new experiences in visual art for all ages. Our extensive and growing permanent collection of American art, focused on works on paper, and our changing exhibitions provide a first-class gallery experience.

Our beautiful facility is located downtown in the old Coca-Cola bottling plant in Lubbock's historic Depot District. The space includes a lofty interior, tasting room, and outdoor patio, available to rent together or separately for a variety of events and soirées of all sorts! To confirm a date for an event, a signed contract must be received along with payment of one-half of the total venue rental fee.

The main building provides a traditional gallery feel with its white walls adorned with contemporary works of art. Concrete floors and modern lounging complete the sophisticated setting while leaving room for you to decorate it as you choose. River Legacy Living Science Center is both a beautiful and unique setting for a celebration, whether indoors or outdoors. With a commitment to sustainable design, River Legacy Living Science Center is a masterpiece of architecture. Our rentals are available as a full-facility package. We have a nightly rental cost of $2500 on Fridays and Saturdays and that includes the use of the Atrium, Discovery Room exhibit hall, Riparian viewing room, and Outside Terrace. That package includes access between 5 pm and 12 am (midnight). Event set up and break down must be included within the 5pm-12am window. Ask about Sunday economy rentals.
