Zingerman’s Bakehouse is an artisanal bakery with a baking school in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We started 30 years ago as a simple bread bakery with a single customer, Zingerman’s Delicatessen. Today we make bread, pastries, cakes, lunch items (and so much more!) that we proudly serve to guests in our bustling shop, our Zingerman’s partner businesses, the southeastern Michigan community and beyond.

Hello! My name is Beisan, a stay at home mom of 2 girls that keep me on my toes. When my daughter was turning 1, I decided to bake some sugar cookies and decorate them (Minnie Mouse theme). I loved them! 1st birthday turned into 2nd then 3rd birthday then cookies for family and friends. After 6 years, from the help of so many family and friends I decided to start BeistCookies. I love seeing customers faces when they see their vision come to life.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

The creative process is a dance of colors, textures, and flavors that allows me to tell stories through sugar and flour. I only schedule a few weddings every week to give your cake the personal attention and detail it deserves. You won't find large ovens, bulk ingredients and dozens of cakes leaving my kitchen on a weekly basis. I am an artist and feel like your cake should be a work of art.
