Led by owner Maegan Allen, this traveling bar and bartending business brings custom experiences to weddings across Virginia and surrounding areas. With personalized menus and signature drinks, you can enjoy a cocktail hour and reception that is literally made for you.

Inspired by first-hand experience of the wedding planning process, Maegan founded French Honey Hospitality as a way of streamlining bar hire for fellow to-be-weds. Having worked in hospitality for over a decade, they love nothing more than making people feel warm and welcome wherever they may be. With this in mind, they strive to deliver memorable cocktails that are meaningful and affordable.

French honey hospitality where do I start?! We reserved their bar service and didn’t really have expectations because we didn’t know how bar service could be. FHH was able to do a Mocktail bar customized to our event. It was effortlessly perfect. Meagan went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of the event was accounted for and the drinks. One thing that really stood out was her communication. She made sure to address exactly what I wanted and what my taste was.. in reference to flavor of drinks, style of drinks, and even down to the menu. She was able to communicate with other vendors and just took a lot of stress off my plate. Drinks were delish! If you’re cutting corners on your isn’t for budget reasons, do not cut corners on the bar experience and I highly recommend you look into French honey hospitality!!

I cannot stress enough how excellent French Honey Hospitality and Maegan are. Maegan went above and beyond to learn the ins and outs of our wedding day--themes, colors, guests, etc. We booked with Maegan in January 2023 and she bartended our October 7 wedding. Over the course of those 10 months, Maegan kept in contact with me, sending me little reminders along the way, and always being patient with my boundless questions. One of the many benefits of booking with French Honey Hospitality is that you get an experience cultivated by Maegan. She was recently married and went through the wedding planning journey herself, so she is thoughtful in her approach and always willing to brainstorm and lend a listening ear. She designed 3 signature cocktails for us, each modeled after our 3 fur babies--2 cats and 1 dog. We gave her descriptions of their personalities and sent photos as inspiration. She then provided a detailed list that we needed to purchase before the wedding, including the size and number of bottles of each liquor, champagne, wine, and beer. Maegan was such a great addition to our day and made friends with our guests, made them feel comfortable, answered their questions, and kept the party going. We opted for the additional cold and hot bars, so there were plenty of options for every guest--coffee, tea, lemonade, sodas, and alcohol aplenty. I highly recommend hiring Maegan. She is the ultimate hype woman and consummate professional. She encouraged both me and my now husband on our way to our first look and cheered us on every step of the day. You will never regret working with her. Our guests haven't stopped raving about her. We count ourselves very lucky that she was available on our wedding date.

Working with Maegan for our wedding was a dream! From the very start of our planning, she made herself available despite my difficult schedule and was so responsive whenever we had questions. She walked us through the ABC license application process to ensure that we had everything we needed for the wedding. Her idea for our signature cocktail was spot on and exactly what we were looking for - plus our guests loved it! Her flexibility and attention to detail could be seen from the smallest of things (such as on our bar menu) to the day of our wedding. She and her husband ensured that our guests were happy, never waiting in line, and provided fantastic drinks. They were so lovely on the day of our wedding and made us feel so at ease with everything. I would highly recommend Maegan for anyone looking for a bartending service for their wedding! You will not regret working with such a lovely individual and will see your personal wedding aesthetic implemented in her services!

If you’re looking for a bartender for your wedding you NEED to book Maegan!!! With all of the stress that planning a wedding brings, Maegan was such a breath of fresh air. She was easy to communicate with, extremely reasonable with her prices, and went above and beyond all of our expectations. Not to mention, her cocktails were fantastic. SO much better than drinks at any other wedding I’ve ever been to. She supplies all of the mixers and makes her own specialty syrups. She even made homemade lavender lemonade for a nonalcoholic option and kept some behind the bar to use for mixed drinks as well. She gave an estimation for how much alcohol to buy, and she was spot on. One of my biggest worries was having a long line at the bar for cocktail hour (we’ve all been at weddings where you’re spending most of cocktail hour waiting in line), but she assured me she and her husband could deal with the cocktail hour rush no problem. She was 100% right. I could go on and on! She easily was my favorite wedding vendor. If you’re on the fence and she’s available, don’t hesitate for another second - BOOK HER!
