Hi! my name is Betsy, I am a wedding photographer based in Des Moines, IA. I started photographing special moments of my daughter, which quickly turned into a growing passion to capture beautiful moments in the people I love. My business has grown, and I have had a continuous love for photographing weddings.

Since I started photographing weddings, I have realized that I get to take part in making someones wedding day so incredibly meaningful, and worth looking back at over and over again. I try my hardest to capture all of the emotion, affection and excitement from the day. My hope is that you will always look back at your wedding photos with fondness, and joy! I look forward to making more memories behind the camera.

Typically, couples book me about 4-6 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

I typically almost always bring my second shooter with me to most weddings, unless it is a shorter day, but you can always count on me having extra hands on deck.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

Yes! My husband does video! Reach out to me if you have any questions on hourly pricing for that.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive 30 -50 edited preview images, or as I like to call, sneak peaks! so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. I also offer 1 week turnaround time for weddings at an extra cost.

You can expect to receive anywhere between 50 - 75 images per hour services, But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
