Shem Roose Wedding Photography

Shem Roose is a professional wedding photographer based in Richmond, Vermont. He truly enjoys documenting candid moments, portraits, and details in a way that accurately represents every wedding he shoots. Shem began shooting weddings in 2004 while juggling being a Stay at Home Dad, Husband, and freelance photographer. Not only is Shem’s wife his second photographer, but she also goes the extra mile to help couples, family members, and wedding vendors in almost any situation. Oh, and she’s really good at making funny noises to help kids or grown-ups to look at the camera if they’re feeling shy.

Wedding couples, family, and friends have commented how un-obtrusive and calm we are throughout the day. Our approach allows us to capture and deliver candid moments along with the details and events of the day. If there is a last-minute request for a shot on the day of the wedding, we make it happen. If a couple wants us to stay an extra hour to shoot more photos, we make that happen too.
