Girl Meets Cake was founded in 2008 by Misty Claveloux, our baker and cake designer. Our business quickly grew and in 2012 Mandy Snyder joined our team as our operations manager. We are also sisters and enjoy the opportunity to work together every day to provide delicious, one-of-a-kind cakes at an affordable price. We are looking forward to speaking with you and planning the perfect cake that will match you and the theme of your celebration! I will always work within your budget and strive to make your dream become reality.

Please contact me with what you’re looking for, and for which date you’ll need it, and we can start from there. I’ll let you know before anything if your event date is available. When placing an order, it is best to have an idea of how many guests you would like to serve, as well as the sort of style or design you have in mind. Tell me your theme, colors, and any specific design ideas you have.
I ask for a minimum of two weeks’ notice on any order, but there are always exceptions every weekend, so it never hurts to ask. To provide the highest quality work, I limit the amount of orders I take per week. Please contact me as early as possible to get on my calendar - even if you haven't decided on anything but your date.
All of the cakes are priced on an individual basis and prices are derived from a variety of factors: complexity of design, size, and labor required are the main factors that determine price. When talking about custom cakes, you get what you pay for. I will be more than happy to work with you and come up with a design that will fit your budget to the best of my ability.
All payments are required 1 week before your cake is due. Your order in not confirmed until you have paid for it. I accept cash, check, and credit cards. Most cakes will receive invoices via Paypal. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay for your cake in this method. Payments cannot be made when you pick your cake up.
Yes & Yes. Most cakes are picked up from my home in Manassas, but I do offer delivery within about an hours distance outside of Manassas. Delivery is $2 per mile.
I do offer complimentary tastings for orders over $300. For orders under $300, you can order a sampling of cupcakes to taste in order to help you choose. Most tastings are scheduled in my home on Sundays after 11am.
