Our lead photographer Matt was classically trained at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. When Lori met Matt in Hollywood in 2013 she fell in love with his world of music videos & movies. Matt brings 20+ years of photography & video experience to the pair. He is also our go-to tech guru on everything from drones to building custom computers & camera rigs.

I am a spunky, small town, California girl who grew up on the West Coast in the beautiful sunshine. In my pursuit of higher education, I was whisked away to a Scandinavian university in the busy city of Chicago, IL. It was there, amongst the many plays of Henrik Ibsen, and late nights of painting and drawing, that I found my first Nikon camera.

I am a lover of love and adventure. I am a pretty down person (I free dive with sharks so if that doesn't say something...) I moved to Hawaii in 4 hours notice and quit my corporate job to chase my dreams and here I am! I'm a bit of a minimalist like to think I'm pretty fun. I'm an ocean conservationist and use my skills to also educate people about human impacts and ways to make shifts in our own lives in order to help the planet. I am really big on quality over quantity. I would rather deliver a handful of WOW photos over a ton of average photos to fill a number.

Lauren, head of Lauren Allen Photography, has been a part of the wedding and fashion industries for over six years. She picked up a camera in high school and hasn't put one down since. She began modeling for bridal lines such as Vogue Italia & Versace's Bridal & uses that experience to assist her couples in posing.
