Anthony Cubbage
Hey, I'm Anthony! I'm a Singer-Songwriter, Pianist, and Guitarist in the Albany region. I've always been about bringing people's visions to life, whether it be producing artists', taking an amazing story and turning it into music, or filling an event with sound that speaks to the people there. I'd love to get to know both of you and your story, and help create memories with music. While I live in Albany, I'm willing to travel almost anywhere - feel free to get in touch whether you want me to come to you, or if you're planning a destination wedding!
I also write personal songs for first dance, ceremony, or vows!! I love to get to know couples, their story and history, and put those beautiful, unique details into a song! I'll record that song professionally from start to finish, so that you have a radio-quality recording to listen to forever. I can even play the song for you live for your first dance, for a private vows exchange, or publically for your ceremony/aisle music! Starting at $600 (guitar and vocals or piano and vocals), this can be a good budget option if you wanted live music but can't afford a full band! This includes 30 minutes of welcome music as guests arrive, and usually 30 minutes for the ceremony. Your ceremony that can involve music in any way you'd like (e.g. like a soundtrack, you can orchestrate how you would like music to play a part). From piano flourishes as you exchange rings, to special songs for the bridal party and/or bride's entrance.

A musical photograph - After taking some time to get to know the two of you, and your story, we’ll put together an original song from start to finish including those unique details that only you and your partner may understand. Anthony was a hit!
Anthony did an amazing job performing at my husband's 60th birthday party. He is extremely talented and easy too work with. Guests kept commenting on how great he was. You will not be disappointed if you hire him!

I can’t say enough good things about Anthony. I truly feel I was lucky to find him for so many reasons. Not only is he very diligent when responding to emails and phone calls. But truly the main thing I loved about working with him was that his energy was exactly what a nervous bride needs — calm and reassuring, while still displaying so much enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding. Music was super important to my husband and I’s relationship so I was happy to know how talented Anthony is. He is able to cover a huge repertoire of music but also took it upon himself to learn a few songs I requested as a special dedication for my husband-to-be. Everyone at our wedding raved about him and kept telling me they even felt his sound was better than some of the original artists’ songs he was covering. My cocktail hour was the exact vibe I envisioned— so dreamy and I’ll never forget it. All thanks to Anthony!

We enjoyed talking with him for every single one of our meetings. He is so down to earth and easy to talk to. Anthony was flexible with what we wanted, and handled everything flawlessly. We paid other vendors thousands of dollars, and to be honest, Anthony was the best vendor we worked with. Not to mention his beautiful singing voice. He made our ceremony perfect!! If you're looking to add something truly unique, emotional and memorable to your wedding day, look no further. Anthony is one of the most talented songwriters I've ever heard, and his ability to feel, empathize, and tell stories comes together in perfect harmony through his music. It's not often you find somebody who has all the components to take a musician from great to one of a kind, but Anthony is absolutely that person. I wrote my vows and shared my first dance to a song that he wrote for me and my wife. We eloped on the black sand beach of Iceland, and brought a portable speaker so we could have this dance. Have you ever heard a song at the perfect moment and it feels like it could be included in the soundtrack to your life? Anthony will write that song for you, to pair with one of the most incredible moments of your life, and each time you listen to it again or it comes on shuffle, it'll take you right back to the moments you hold dear like an intimate journal entry only you and your spouse could ever truly feel.
