During his school years, Michael played the bass and later completed a music degree in college. Michael set up his DJ business in 2021 and has been delighting couples and their guests with energetic entertainment since then.

Michael prides himself on his ability to form lasting relationships with his couples. It is more than just a hired hand situation. He really wants to get to know you and your fiance in order to personalize your night and make it special. He makes it a point to have face to face interactions via video call so that you can see his personality, build trust, and make an informed decision.     We recently had Michael DJ our wedding on 4.5.24. He was a recommended DJ from our venue and we are so glad we chose him! We received so many compliments from our guests about how engaging and interactive he was throughout the night. Our main goal for the night was to keep our guests on the dance floor and he did just that! We had so much fun dancing the night away with our friends and family and can’t thank Michael enough for keeping the vibes high for the entire night! I also wanted to mention that Michael was extremely organized and had a few video calls with us in the year leading up to our wedding. He had a planning document for us to complete which was incredibly helpful to keep us on track with everything we needed to make decisions on related to our music and timeline. We highly recommend Michael and can’t thank him enough!!

    DJ MC Duke was the best DJ we could have ever wished for on our wedding day! Throughout our planning process he was very organized, helpful, and truly got to know us personally as a couple. Michael is very responsive and had great communication with us every step along the way. Our number one thing we were looking for for our wedding was someone who could keep our party crowd dancing, and he did not disappoint! He definitely knows how to throw a party and we had the most amazing wedding, dancing the night away with our favorite people. Even with it raining all night, his music kept everyone on the dance floor! If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, 1000% go with DJ MC Duke!

    There aren’t enough good things to say about Michael; he was the LIFE of our party and he truly made it the best day of our lives! He played everything we asked for and more, was so hilarious and attentive to our guests. He made it a point to go around from table to table when everyone was getting their food to dismiss them. He was so professional, yet we say it really feels like he was our close friend celebrating alongside us. His communication was clear, consistent and his response time was incredible!

    BEST DJ EVER!!!! We can't begin to express our gratitude for Michael. From the very first phone call, Michael has been responsive, professional, kind, and just overall awesome. Finding the right DJ is such an important part of a wedding and we were so so happy with Michael. The playlists he curated - from preceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and most importantly - dancing - were PERFECT. I would highly highly recommend DJ MC Duke for your wedding or event!
