Lover of all things music... I fell in love with music when I first heard The Roots -"What They Do! " It captivated me and the beat had me hooked. I started making my own mixtapes and always wanted the music to never end. I continued to play for family and friends and zone out. Until one night with my brother, we spent hours playing classic hip hop and rap hits. I told myself that If i can do this off memory than mixing it together with a database of music would be simple.

    DJ Tone provided emcee and DJ services to us for our wedding. He was professional, attentive, and checked with us about everything each step of the way. He played the types of music we wanted, and made it a fun environment for kids and adults alike! Each song in the wedding, from procession to recession, was perfectly timed, and transitioned beautifully. He was able to hype up the crowd and get them ready for the reception and dancing; we were very happy with Tony and what he he did to make our wedding special.

    I got married recently and found DJ Tone on Zola. We shared a phone conversation and decided to book him. We had several conversations leading up to the big day. He has a form for his clients to fill out asking questions about specific songs and announcements. I filled it out twice just to make sure he got it. He also sent a spreadsheet for song requests. DJ Tone is a really cool guy, however he dropped the ball on my big day. He messed up right after the ceremony by not playing a song at the correct time, he pronounced our 2 syllable last name incorrectly, he played the wrong song during our intro, played songs on my "Do Not Play List," missed making the cake announcement and was not prepared for having no cell service or Wi-Fi at a venue he has played before. When I told him about the mistakes that were made, he told me to leave a review.
