Don't Stop the Party Entertainment was established on December 23rd, 2014. However, the company has experience in wedding entertainment since 1986. We have been creating just the right atmosphere and providing peace of mind for everything from elegant country weddings to all-night dance fests. We have several options available to you, to suit any budget and to make every wedding unique. We’ve got backup equipment, insurance for every event, DJs & MCs, support staff on call, and over 80 years of combined experience.

We hold ourselves to the highest standard and work seamlessly with other vendors. With our services, you will find that every step of the process is tailored to you. These folks absolutely killed it for our wedding this evening! They did our friends' wedding last October and we were so impressed that we hired them for ours. Elen was responsive and very clearly on top of things from the planning/prep side of things, and Koko/DJ Smokey were just absolute pleasures to have on the execution side of things for our big day - friendly, funny, and really made us feel special. 100% would recommend!

Don't Stop the Party was the best choice we could have made for DJ and photo booth services. DJ Koko was great keeping everyone entertained and in party mode. The photo booth was a great hit with our guests. Even two weeks after our wedding, they are still talking about it. The album from the photo booth arrived and it was so amazing reliving everyone's fun photos. Communication was on point as well!

Used Don’t Stop the Party for my daughters prom! They interacted with the kids wonderfully and were well organized had plenty of props and were SOOOO accommodating!!! I could not recommend them enough! This was such a great addition to the prom!!!

We wear either Semi-Formal wear (for example Suit, Tie & Jacket) or our company button-down shirts or polos (depending on the weather). We leave this decision up to the couple.

The biggest difference is that we have 2 DJs at each event. One to take care of all the important announcements and to be the go-to person for any questions from the couple. The 2nd DJ is responsible for all the music. Making sure all the specialty songs requested by the couple are played and any music requests throughout the night are played.

Absolutely, unless the couple specifically does not want requests at their event.

Yes. We provide a separate sound system for the ceremony with music for each special occasion and background music for the guests as well as wireless microphones for the officiant and anyone making speeches at the ceremony.

Yes, we can provide our insurance upon request.

We love to seamlessly blend any genre of music during the reception and our Master of Ceremonies provides just the right amount of energy to keep the crowd engaged.

Depends on the system(s) we are bringing, but we usually arrive between 2-3 hours before the event starts.

Yes, our basic DJ package comes with DMX-controlled Lighting for your dance floor, however, we have an upgrade to provide more DMX-controlled lighting to mimic a nightclub dance floor. We also provide up-lighting as an upgrade. Our basic Photo Booth package comes with tons of props to take the silliest pictures. Unlimited photos for the couple and their guests.

Our travel fee is free for the first 75 miles roundtrip from our home office located in Sanford, Maine. After that, we do charge for travel, but it is included in the quote you receive from us, it's never a hidden fee. Our set-up and break-down times are included and do not cost anything.
