Our group is made up of nationally award winning musicians who genuinely LOVE playing together & throwing a PARTY! We do things a little differently- from the planning stages to grooving on the dance floor, we are here to make the process easy & FUN! We play everything from Sinatra to Classics from the 60's & 70's right up to today's top hits! Our prices include a LOT of free perks & we can package other music elements at discounted prices. We are a local band, not a chain, and our musicians/singers are set, meaning they are the same gig after gig. Those musicians love to get out on the dance floor and have solo-offs, which is always a crowd favorite! Everyone in the group is a working professional and nationally award winning musicians, meaning, you get the BEST talent in the entire Rochester area! PopStyle has a set roster, and each member has one "backup" in case of sickness/emergency. The best compliment we've ever received was that we acted like a bunch of friends of the couple jamming out at their wedding, which is exactly how we treat each and every event.

    It has been extremely difficult for us to put such a wonderful experience into words. Our experience began when stumbling upon a band, PopStyle, who we had never heard of before. After reaching out we were pleased to get a quick and genuine response back from Karl. From the first response the group clearly took our questions to heart and responded in a way which we felt comfortable that we had been heard, even after we had been forward about never hearing of them before. After deciding to go with them for the wedding night, we met in person to go over the night. Karl is a true professional and added some suggestion where we needed it and let us steer the ship as we wanted to. Ultimately we were happy and comfortable to put the night in his hands, they did not disappoint. As the wedding came around, it was clear that PopStyle knew how to perform. We received more compliments on the band throughout the night and on the impressive skill on just about every individual musician in the group. Which is something to say as more than a few of our guests have professional backgrounds in music. What struck us most was not only the raw talent and the ability to completely nail each song, but that the band itself had fun. You would never know they were not just a group of friends getting together to jam out. They danced, smiled, laughed, and even stepped into the crowd once or twice to have an epic horn or vocal solo back and forth. We will lastly say that one of our biggest complaints leaving weddings (DJ or Band) is when the musicians do not read the room and only play what they want, instead of play for the crowd. PopStyle knew how to direct the feeling of the night. Each song flowed from the last and set them up for the next set. They seemed to hit ever genre with expertise which gave something to everyone in the crowd. Our only reservations going into this was the lack of other reviews out there, given they are a newer band. We only hope that this speaks volumes to how incredible they are and comforts you in knowing you are hiring the best we have heard. We are hoping to see them live again at many weddings in the future. Thank you PopStyle, you crushed it!

    Popstyle is amazing. As a musician myself, I often notice the quality of wedding bands, and Popstyle is the top of the top. They are excellent musicians, friendly, and very professional. They care about the details - like the songs that matter to you, which ones you like to dance to, and even what instruments you prefer. Not only this, they make sure that you, your guests, and your vendors all have a fun time. Thanks, Popstyle!

    From the very beginning, Karl was such a pleasure to work with. Finding a great band for our wedding was our top priority. We were a little apprehensive about pulling the trigger on any band without seeing them live, since videos don’t necessarily do the band justice. We made the decision to go with PopStyle almost entirely because Karl was so responsive and a great communicator. 6 months later, when it came time to iron out details, Karl was consistently professional and put us at ease. Knowing we could trust him to handle everything on his end was invaluable. Obviously we were a bit preoccupied on the day of our wedding, but from what we could tell everything was so smooth. They took care of setting up for our ceremony with a variety of mics and speakers for our officiant, readers, and processional/recessional music. They seamlessly transitioned to the cocktail hour (different location), then introduced our first dance plus family dances, and kicked off the dancing with so much enthusiasm. We absolutely adored their performance. They got everyone out on the dance floor! There were also times when a few of them came out onto the dance floor to really engage the crowd. It was awesome and unexpected. Each band member that I personally interacted with could not have been nicer. They all seemed so genuinely happy to be there celebrating with us. It didn’t feel like a client/vendor dynamic. Additionally, every other vendor we spoke with told us what a pleasure it was to work with PopStyle. Overall, we would 100% book PopStyle again for any event. If you are considering them at all, I would look no further. They exceeded our expectations in every category
