The Plus Ones provide tailored live music for your special day. Our mission is to create memorable entertainment for you and your guests during this once in a lifetime moment. We offer a variety of musician combinations and will help you choose the right one for your celebration. Solo and duo musicians are the perfect choice for an outdoor ceremony in either Prospect Park, Brooklyn or Central Park, Manhattan. The Plus Ones have performed for all types of ceremonies and parties. We also provide acoustic music for proposals and for couples traveling to NYC to elope.

Owner Gerald Edward is a seasoned guitarist and vocalist living in NYC and has performed at over 500 weddings throughout his career. Gerald and the Plus Ones are able to perform music spanning many eras and genres. With 15 years of experience, you can trust us to help find the right songs and style for your event. We take special requests and cover your favorites for processional, recessional, and first dance.

    Wow, Gerald is fantastic. Apart from being phenomenal to work with (so professional, responsive, friendly, warm), he is so talented! He and Yan were incredible. We received so many compliments on the music! They absolutely crushed it, made the evening what it was (amazing), hit all the songs we were hoping for (and blew us away with our requests, some of which they learned for our evening). They are truly talented and I would book them again a thousand times over. Do not hesitate, they are so phenomenal. Gerald, thank you so much!

    Gerald was our wedding signer and guitarist at Central Park. He was absolutely amazing, I could not have asked for anyone better! He spoke to all the guest before I arrived in between songs and they all are still talking about him and how great and friendly he was. His singing and playing was perfection that I am still thinking about him bringing my songs to life! Being from the U.K. and having an overseas wedding he made everything so easy to organise and book. No question was left unanswered and he made me feel at ease from day one! Do not hesitate to book - you will not regret it!

    Can’t recommend him enough! Booked for a surprise proposal and showed up perfectly on time and was just super nice human. Absolutely made the moment special. Most importantly, he was incredibly talented and very versatile as he was able to learn the special song on short notice. You’d be lucky to have him at your event!!!

    Gerald from The Plus Ones is the absolute best. His musicianship is uncontested and he is as professional as they come. I have worked alongside Gerald at several weddings and it is always an absolute pleasure. I also booked him to perform at MY wedding ceremony in 2018, and my wife and I could not have been happier with this decision. He was a pro through and through (as always), learned multiple songs for our processional/recessional and absolutely made our day that much more special . Book him right now!!
