Our not-so-ordinary, pastry inspired, flavor profiles are created using the finest, natural ingredients ensuring every cake is a labor of luxe. Combined with our unsurpassed attention to detail and handmade sugar flowers, our cakes are sure to tickle your fancy. Brandy "B" Markova is a graduate of the prestigious French Pastry School's "L'Art de la Pâtisserie" program in Chicago. She worked as a pastry chef in the kitchen of New Orleans' most preeminent pâtisserie, and later as a sugar and figurine sculptor. Now she is bringing her own, lively cakes to couples looking to stand out from the crowd. B continues to grow her repertoire by studying under some of the biggest names in the cake industry. Her designs are inspired by couture fashion, architecture, art, destination travels, nature, & all things beautiful. Winner of The Chrysler Museum's Bake-Off: Professional Division

    Look no further... no really, stop your endless searching and let Brandy make your cake! Her knowledge, craftsmanship, and technical skills are so far beyond the Tidewater area that you almost blink and wonder if she is real. From the first time you join her for a tasting to the moment you cut your personalized creation Brandy is a true gift. Our tasting cakes were make fresh for us, per what flavors we were interested in. We planned our wedding remotely and had been told that wedding cakes should be like this... or should be this flavor... Wrong! Brandy’s creative flavors are beyond delicious and change with the season Her workshop/ home sets the tone and makes you feel at ease. She engaged us with conversation and tea. She got to know us as a family. She partnered with me about my vision and wanted to make sure her ideas were welcomed. We worked together with out issue! She was even gracious enough to work with our florist on the flowers for the cake. She shared her vision and let them carry it out. Our wedding was beautiful and sadly I didn’t even get to see Brandy that day, but I would have gushed to her about her edible work of art! Thank you Brandy! It was beyond beautiful! Ps! Mine is the Marble beauty with the cascading white flowers!

    We chose Brandy for our New Orleans wedding when I saw her photos of two small individual cakes on candle holders. We contacted her and she set up a private tasting of her available flavors and we worked on designs for our individual cakes. We then completely tailored how we wanted our cakes and the cupcakes for our guests. Brandy showed up exactly on time for our wedding, and had everything laid out so beautifully, even for a wedding of 100+ guests she wasn't fazed. We (and our guests) were beyond impressed, blown away really, by how amazing her sugar flowers looked on our cakes and the special designs she put together. It truly was perfect and everyone raved about the flavors. The best part is, we still have our sugar flowers as a keepsake and can keep them forever! I also like that Brandy uses unique flavor combinations and thinks outside the box with the ingredients she uses. She provided a so very special and beautiful addition to our wedding and we couldn't recommend her more.

    Brandy's work in pastry is above and beyond anything I've ever seen. In fact, nothing in the area can compare to her incredible skills in wedding cakes! She does every single sugar flower BY HAND! She's a blast to work with, and I highly recommend her!
