Hello! My name is Porsha and I’m the owner of Cake Me Away. I’m a self-taught baker and have been baking since I was in high school. I officially transitioned from a hobby baker to an official business in 2019. Since then I’ve gained many repeat clients through word of mouth about my moist and delicious made from scratch cakes. I’ve created delicious cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other special events.

My made from scratch cakes set me apart from the competition. Scratch baking is something I’ve strived to perfect. My cakes are consistent in taste and deliciously moist. I strive for 100% satisfaction and look forward to creating the cake of your dreams.

Having an intimate wedding? This Small Wedding package provides a beautiful wedding cake and dessert table that will wow your guests at an affordable price. This package comes with a mini 2 tier cake (limited designs to choose from), 24 rosette cupcakes, 12 monogram sugar cookies, 12 cheesecake shooters (plain, strawberry, or turtle), 12 chocolate covered pretzel bags, and your choice of 12 donuts or 12 chocolate covered strawberries. Free pick up or optional $150 delivery+set up fee available.

    Literally the best cake I have ever had! I had NO what to do for our wedding cake, but Porsha was super helpful and helped me choose the final look of the cake. Best thing is the cake didn’t get super dry after being in the fridge for days!

    Cake Me Away did an amazing job on our wedding. Porsha came to our house to do our tasting (literally everything tasted absolutely amazing) and discussed the best way to make our wedding vision come to life with us. We settled on a four-tier cake where three of the four tiers were fake, with one real cake for us to cut. The balance of the cake for guests we did as three different flavors of cupcakes. At the wedding when we got ready to cut the cake, we couldn't tell which layer was real! I had totally forgotten the order and we had to test the fakes with a fork to make sure we were trying to cut the right cake! Everything looked and tasted absolutely amazing and I didn't worry about a thing with Porsha in charge of our cake. Highly recommend!!
