Crystal loves decorating cakes not only from an artistic standpoint, but also because she loves making each customer's unique cake dreams come true. Whether you know exactly what you want or you have no idea where to begin, Crystal will help every step of the way to design the perfect cake for your day. No concept is too grand or detail too quirky - together we will bring your vision to life!

Confections by Crystal is a CT cottage food industry-licensed business operating on a small scale, but with a huge amount of attention to each wedding cake order. In business for over seven years, Crystal has done everything from rustic backyard weddings to elegant theatrical weddings in grand ballrooms. Crystal believes that first and foremost, a cake should taste as great as it looks. Confections by Crystal uses the highest quality ingredients, such as Valrhona Cocoa Powder, King Arthur Flour, cage free eggs, and organic ingredients when possible. Crystal can't wait to help you design your perfect wedding cake!

    Crystal was amazing to work with and brought our dream cake to life for our wedding in September! She was incredibly responsive from the start and helped us make decisions from the initial tasting all the way through to the final design. The cake was exactly what we dreamed of - classic, timeless, and so delicious! Crystal worked with us so that we could each feature our favorite flavor profile in the cake - rich and chocolatey for half and light and fruity for the other half. She also helped us incorporate our puppy in the cake with an adorable figurine that was spot on and a huge hit. We truly appreciate everything she did for us leading up to and on our wedding day!

    Crystal made the most delicious cake for our wedding! It was so beautiful and tasted amazing. Our guests loved it and we couldn't have been happier with how it came out. Crystal was super easy to work with and was able to recreate the cake from my inspiration images. We highly recommend Confections by Crystal!

    Thank you so much for your incredible work. The cake was stunning and a real highlight of our day! We got so many comments from guests on how delicious it was, and just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. Working with Crystal was so lovely and easy. There was no pressure to order anything, but she did a wonderful job helping us estimate our dessert needs for our party. We will definitely work with Crystal in the future, and can't recommend her more highly!

    Working with Crystal was fantastic! She was super responsive and easy to connect with once we made an inquiry. We walked into our tasting thinking that we knew exactly what we wanted but everything she made at our tasting really blew us away (including the best cake pops we've ever had) and we ended up doing a few different layers. She is a very talented baker (the cake was delicious) but also a wonderful designer and created a truly beautiful cake. We couldn't even save the top for our 1 year anniversary - we defrosted it after a month and ate it all! We can't recommend her enough!
