Scratch Bakery began in 2016, as my passion for baking grew into a full time “job.” I enjoy working with my clients to create the perfect treats for their occasions. My main focus is taste, taste, taste - using quality ingredients and made all from scratch. If something looks wonderful, but doesn’t taste good, I do not use it. Part of the reason I began baking and decorating was due to unmet expectations. I don’t ever want my clients to feel as though they didn’t receive what they were hoping for.

I listen to my customers requests and encourage any ideas they have for design and flavor combinations. I then let them know how I can deliver that for them. At times designs may need to be tweaked, but I am always forthcoming and up front. I want to be sure you’re getting what you’d like and there are no surprises. Unless, you’d like a surprise ☺️

    Jill at Scratch bakery truly brought our vision for wedding desserts to life! We wanted more than just a standard wedding cake and had unique flavors in mind, she was positive and excited to work with us to make our “his and hers favorites” dessert table a realty. In addition to our two tiered wedding cake (that was maple bacon bourbon flavored and AMAZING!), Scratch also handled all of the sweets for our dessert table which included over 250 mini cupcakes in fun flavors such as salted caramel, wedding cake, chocolate peanut butter and red velvet. We also had chocolate chip cookies, key lime pie bars and her famous Carmelita’s (they are to die for). We use Scratch Bakery for all our family birthdays and special occasions now, truly such a memorable part of our wedding day that guests still talk about three years later.

    Best desserts ever! Scratch Bakery did our wedding cake, grooms cake, and dessert table for our wedding. Everyone was raving about both cakes and all of the desserts! Our wedding cake turned out STUNNING. And our grooms cake, which was a “Busch latte” beer can turned out PERFECT!! Jill is so talented and we were able to personalize our cakes and she made them exactly how we visioned them. She nailed it!! Our wedding originally was scheduled during the unknown of the pandemic and we had to re-schedule. Jill is very understanding and was so easy to work with! We not only used Scratch Bakery for our wedding, but we also always use Scratch Bakery for all of our events - birthdays, baby shower and just because!! I cannot recommend Scratch Bakery enough!!!
