Sweet Vermont Treats is a home-based bakery located in Colchester, VT providing a wide variety of sweet treats, from small orders to large scale events with rustic Vermont themed custom displays. Karli, the owner and baker, is a University of New Hampshire hospitality management alum and grew up in Central VT gaining experience while working at several popular outlets in the area. When not she's not baking she also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new states and countries, and exploring unique restaurants and bars.

From cake and cupcakes to tarts and whoopie pies, we're sure to have something that satisfies your sweet tooth on your big day. We travel through out Vermont for weddings, no matter the size, from 200+ person wedding receptions to a small intimate elopements. Our products fit the rustic homemade vibe that most Vermont couples are seeking whether they're local to the area or planning a destination wedding. Items are made with local ingredients whenever possible, from maple syrup and coffee to fresh fruit and flour.

    Karli is a miracle worker. She made us everything we wanted and it was set up beautifully. She was so tolerant of our needy indecisiveness! And everything was beautiful. We got tons of compliments.

    Karli was fabulous! We worked with her for an extended amount of time given that we had to postpone our original date due to covid. She was so flexible and went above and beyond when I made a last minute request for cider donuts to be added to our order. We highly recommend Karli and her desserts are to die for!

    We cannot say enough great things about Karli. Vermont was our dream destination wedding for us. Working with Karli being hundreds of miles away was one of the easiest wedding planning tasks that we had. From the moment we contacted her to inquire about her availability to the day we finally met her on our wedding day, Karli was so professional and easy to work with, especially given that we had gluten free guests that we wanted to accommodate. Her desserts were absolutely melt worthy! We had ZERO left overs of our cake and cupcakes that we ordered, that's how good her desserts are. HIGHLY recommend you use Karli for your wedding needs. You will not be disappointed.
