DAVIDSON DESIGNS is a floral studio that specializes in weddings, events & installations for clients with impeccable taste and an eye for timeless details. We work with bold blooms, wildflowers and seasonal greenery poised in complementary containers. Paired with abundant candlelight, our floral arrangements & installations are quietly vibrant, wildly tamed & simply sophisticated.
WHAT MAKES US THE ONE? 1. COMMUNICATION - We understand when planning your event, you'll have lots of ideas & questions. Got an idea in the middle of the night and need to email us? No problem! We always respond. 2. DETAILS make the magic in an event. Weddings in particular require attention to every facet to thoroughly build an environment. There is no detail too big or too small. 3. EFFICIENCY: Events have a lot of moving parts. We are professionals in logistics. We coordinate early set ups, build almost all designs offsite, and work in collaboration with your other vendors to create seamless experiences for our clients.

For couples who have booked venues with address(es) in the District of Columbia, Alexandria, Arlington, Tysons or Vienna and floral spend greater than $5000.00, getting married on remaining available weekends in September 2024 - December 2025 we are offering the bride(s) and groom(s) bouquet / boutonniere complimentary if booked before March 31, 2024. Romantic Vision Brought to Life!
From our first call to the day of our wedding our florist Mary exceeded our expectations. She found the right balance of listening to and validating our preferences and making recommendations when we weren’t sure. Some things we really loved: Her intake questions: They were thoughtful, intentional, and covered things we hadn’t even thought of. This was so helpful as we did not not have a planner, and we didn’t know what we didn’t know. Mary ensured we had all the items that would tie our day together like personals and installations for the ceremony and reception, including candlelight for a little extra magic. Our personalized vision board: Mary put together a document that recapped our ideas, focusing on color theory and seasonality. She provided examples, size specs, and details of what would be included in our contract. This document gave us confidence and clarity that we were aligned on the look and feel for the day and we all knew what to expect. Her craft and care: The day of the wedding, Mary arrived on time with a smile. She worked so seamlessly and efficiently to set up our arbor, reception and cocktail tables, as well as adding some floral flair to our bar area and a photo-opp area. She told us it would be romantic, natural, and timeless and it was everything we wanted and more. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the flowers and tablescapes were and we were beyond happy with how everything came together.

Mary and her team were such a pleasure to work with through this whole process. From the beginning Mary helped make my vision from a Pinterest board into a reality. She was flexible with all the changes along the way and made sure that everything was perfect! We can’t thank her enough for her and her teams hard work

I loved working with Mary. She was so easy and nice to plan with and worked with my on my budget goals. All the flowers were delivered early and so beautiful. I highly recommend her service!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Mary was such a pleasure to work with!! Of all the florists I talked to in the research phase, I felt like she was the only one to really try to understand what I really wanted for the wedding! She had so many great suggestions and was able to do so much within my budget. And before the wedding she made sure that I hadn’t changed my mind about anything and confirmed that what she was planning on doing was what I was expecting. This made me so confident about how things would turn out and allowed me to focus on other things for the wedding. I could not be happier with how everything turned out!!!!! Every single aspect that she had a hand in was absolutely amazing! The bouquets were so gorgeous and the tablescapes were flawless! All the other details she added just enhanced the venue so much. I got soooo many comments about how gorgeous all of the flowers and candles were! I never thought before getting engaged that I would be as into flowers as I ended up being because of her amazing work! It was absolutely worth every single penny. You will not regret working with Mary!
