Hello! I'm Georgina, founder, event planner and floral designer of GD Flowers + Design. I feel deep in my heart that I was made to create; experiences, floral designs, lasting memories - everything that matters most to you! My passion for pretty things and genuine desire to spread happiness is where my love for flowers first began. Afterall, have you ever held a flower and not felt instant joy? So, in 2018 I followed my calling to bring beauty and life into your homes and gatherings through my designs.

With a heart wired to serve and believing in doing all things with great love, supporting others as they celebrate life's big moments is second nature to me (and the background in corporate planning helps!). This God given gift is the foundation on which my planning and design services stand as I dream up and deliver intimate and meaningful occasions with an unparalleled attention to detail.

    We found GD flowers for our clients who recently got married in July. GD flowers was incredible to work with. Georgina and her staff were a delight on the wedding day. Everything they created was lovely. Such a positive attitude and they all worked really well with each other and the other vendors. I was really impressed with how quick she was to respond to questions. She brought our vision and the clients vision to life in such a perfect way. I will for sure be suggesting her to clients in the future!

    My wife and I got married in early July in Half Moon Bay and were so happy with our floral experience with GD Flowers and Design! We had a very scenic venue, yet we knew that the flowers would really elevate the overall aesthetic. Georgina truly delivered! As two women of color getting married, we were looking for other women of color who were LGBTQ-inclusive. On our first consultation call, Georgina was attentive, polite, and really listed to our vision. It was also very easy to describe the flowers that were of cultural significance to me as a Latina bride. She helped us take our traditional flowers and put a modern twist on them. Even the smallest details for my wife's boutonniere were so thoughtful and just right! From our arch, to the centerpieces, to the mother-of-the-bride wristlets, each element was equally thoughtful and cohesive. She even made my request for citrus to make an appearance as our cocktail hour centerpieces into a reality! On the day of the wedding, Georgina and her team were so professional. I still remember receiving my bouquet and how they brightened my whole mood. Every detail was perfect and it was just so easy to work with Georgina and her team. Again, they were all so professional, polite, respectful and courteous. It was truly a joy to work with GD Flowers and Design! We would definitely recommend them and would be happy to work with them again.

    GD Flowers and Design did ALL of the flowers for our wedding. From table centerpieces, lining the aisles, bouquets, boutonnières, and even decorating the venue. It was stunning. Gina was extremely flexible and easy to work with. I didn’t have a solid idea of what I wanted, but I knew I love sunflowers and eucalyptus. I gave her creative freedom and Gina created such beautiful and tasteful arrangements. We had a late August wedding, in the sun with smoke from the California fires, and yet our flowers flourished and made a statement. Gina made the floral planning stress-free. We were so happy with the way that it turned out and couldn’t recommend her more.
